Just what I need.
So far this is exactly what I need. A tracker to tell me how long ago the medicine bottle was opened so I know if i have already drank the med for the day. It doesnt alarm or anything which is not what I wanted anyway. If I could improve on it I would say add LED backlight to the display, but if that may drains the battery too quickly. It is already perfect as is. Maybe more color variety.

Makes tracking med dosage timings a lot easier. Will happily repurchase.
A godsend for forgetful people like myself. -They're ready to use right out of the bag - batteries included -Works like an average prescription pill bottle: push down and rotate to open -Feels sturdy enough to last me a few years. Timer does NOT get affected even after I shoved it into my travel bag and hopped on a plane. -Timer first starts counting in seconds after you put the lid on. It will convert to hours/minutes once it reaches 1 minute. It only turns off if you haven't opened it in 7 days. -Timer is easy to read and doesn't emit any kind of glow. -A little tough to fit a full 90 day supply into it with my chunkier pills... When it's too full the timer may not work correctly, as the cap needs to rest normally in order for the timer to start. -Comes with sticker labels you can fill out yourself, but I find it easy enough to just peel the ones off my original prescription bottles and stick them onto this one. It's easy to peel those stickers off after, too.

The Caps Are Finnicky To Get "Just Right" To Keep Count
I bought these for my forgetful s.o. and immediately was a little upset that the caps didn't fit conventional pharmacy bottles, but that wasn't the end of the world. We could transfer the medicine label to the bottles that were provided with the caps and all would be good right? Wrong. The tops to the caps are incredibly finnicky. I bought a total of four, and none of them tighten completely, nor do they start counting at any logical portion of tightening the cap. I will tighten the cap and nothing, turn it back a bit, wiggle it around, do a jig... and maybe just maybe will the cap begin to count. Which is great! It's working now right? Wrong. Sometimes the cap will "settle" in a way that stops the counter. Many times I have made sure that the timer had started counting only to look at it later in the day and it's blank. I have double checked the quantity of the medication to make sure there was a little mouse taking one here and there... but nope, all accounted for. TLDR; These are not high quality timers and shouldn't be relied on for sensitive time medications. Nor are they accessible for people with joint/mobility issues as the caps just refuse to sit just right 98% of the time. Truly disappointing.

Great concept and decently executed product. Wrong colors arrived though.
I already had a set of 3 with colors blue, green and purple and I wanted red and yellow to help expand my collection so to seperate different pills color coded. But I received an orange cap and another blue cap with this order. Aside from a return, I don't see any way to contact the company through Amazon to discuss and get the right color caps sent. Not worth the hassle. Batteries need changed once a year or so. Cheap and easy to install new battery with micro screw driver after popping off the spring loaded plastic inside. They do get finicky sometimes and need adjusted a few times to lock in well so not to shut off or reset themselves. Harder plastic would possibly solve this as it seems to happen from deformation when under certain amounts of pressure from tightening. Bummed about the wrong colors though. Ended up just giving one of them away to a friend which was a repeat color. Not risking ordering a second kit and have it show up with the wrong colors again.

Great for remembering if you took your meds
So, I have ADHD, and take Adderall in the morning. I was having an issue where I wasn't sure if I had taken it yet or not, in the rush of the morning, and I definitely didn't want to double up on it on accident. This cap works perfectly for what I needed. If I'm unsure if I've taken the adderall yet, I can look at the cap and see when I last opened the bottle. I can at least assume if I opened the bottle that the meds made it into my body. It also helps me to make sure my dosage is right, since I can look back at the cap to see when I took it, and determine if it's wearing off at the correct time. Absolutely perfect for what I need it for, and my psychiatrist has made a note of it for her other patients. Only downside is that the cap doesn't fit the bottles from CVS and the meds have to be poured into the bottle that it comes with, so, if you do use it for a similar purpose, make sure you keep your original prescription bottle if you need to travel with your meds(due to laws and such). I wouldn't keep a controlled med in this bottle without the prescriber info, but it works fine for at home. If you manage to forget your meds for over 100 hours, the cap shuts off until the bottle is opened again.

Only one of the two works, and only like half the time
Hoped this would help me stop accidentally taking a double (or triple - it has happened before) dose of my meds, and figured a 2 pack for only a couple dollars more than a 1 pack was a great idea - you know, for when I inevitably break one open or accidentally feed it to the void; you never know! Glad I got the 2 pack because one of them straight up did not work at all right out of the package - no matter how much fiddling or miniscule twists I did to it, it never turned on like it was supposed to. Trash. The other one does work, but only if you put it back on the bottle *jjuuusssttt* right - not too quickly, hard, soft, wet, loose, tight, whatever - there is a VERY specific tightness that it has to be at to have the screen pop and start counting, which often means a lot of putting it on, taking it off, putting it on and barely tightening it, taking it off, putt it on and pushing down differently, taking it off, wonder if any of this is worth it or if I just wasted my money on some cheap thing I thought I needed but really didn't, remember all the times I accidentally took a double or triple dose, put it back on and don't turn it any more than until you feel the slightest resistance SUCCESS. But oh god don't bump it! Don't you dare set it down too hard! Shoot you barely tapped it with your hand when reaching for your water glass and now you have to start all over again because you disturbed its peace! Anyways - one timer lid was trash, one works if you have the patience to get it there and the proprioception acuity to avoid tapping or bumping into the bottle after you get it on right, and I regret buying it but I'm in too deep now and have to like it.

Fine, Batteries Hard To Change
While they work, when the battery dies (LR41), it's pretty hard to change the battery, meaning they'd rather you buy a new bottle instead. I'd go so far as to say that I hope the person who designed the cap with the minuscule screw that's hard to remove and even harder to put back in -- I hope that person has to use this bottle for a vital medication and that the batteries they die only last a month.
