7 Modes camping Lantern

This lil lantern is super bright, rechargeable and works very well, especially for the size, plus the design is awesome, each of it's main light functions are useful, it is a good light to keep on a bench or table while you cook dinner while camping & then it's perfect to hang up in your tent at night, on on a hook somewhere around your site for a extra light, But if you use it as a tent light- it along with a budget set of stringed up mini leds with a power bank, can have your tent looking like a light house for most of the night, Because it is rechargeable you can easily plug it up to a strong power bank, or portable power station, the following day and recharge it within a few hours to last you for the coming night, The battery holds a charge an lasts for quite awhile, It is just a cool little lantern, Each of it's functions are very useful, you can have just the top on, witch can be used like a little flashlight, or have just the lights around the side on, to make it like a basic lantern, You can turn both of those on at once to make it a super bright lantern, And you can pull each of the side led panels down, witch is a super useful feature. Each function actually lightens stuff up pretty good as well, Now if I was looking for a main lantern, I wouldn't just get 1 of them, if I were you I would get at least 3 or so, just to use them for decent campsite lighting, it is definitely a stand out for lighting up a 12 or lower person tent. It would be cool if they made more color options, like kacki, red, blue, maybe glow in the dark green & orange, could be really cool. Also it would be really awesome if they could make a full sized version of this, maybe with a emergency/am/fm radio, Maybe even add those new lil solar charging panels and hand charge crank. Just for more versatility, but as is this is still a awesome little lantern that is priced perfectly.

I've ordered seven of these lanterns back in 2022-2023, and now in 2026 they still work perfectly! They're bright, versatile, and they last for hours on a full charge! I love these things and I've been randomly checking online, there's nothing else like these lanterns. I haven't seen them in stock for a while, Blukar must've stopped manufacturing them :( pretty sad about that! I would honestly buy more just to have them on hand lol.

This is a review I'm happy to write. Regarding the small LED lantern, I received them quickly, undamaged, in separate shipping boxes and each individually boxed, which is a bit odd because 2 will fit into one shipping box. But that's not my issue. The first lantern came on with full brightness even though it wasn't completely charged. Very bright in all modes. If I have any complaint, it would be that there is not a simple of/on mode to the function switch. That would be nice because to turn off it has to run through the entire array of lighting modes, which includes strobe which I thought I was done with in the '70's when Disco died. Nonetheless, I appreciate the emergency SOS mode. I don't know if other lantern manufacturers incorporate this but I think it's a very thoughtful design. I said the first lantern came on...but, the second didn't and I immediately thought I got a bad one. However, a few minutes of charge brought it to life enough to light up fully. The full charge took a couple hours. There's the typical "red-charge / green-full charge" LED. Bottom line for me at least is I've used standard flashlights for years and propane and fuel lanterns when camping also for too many years. Recently, dealing with them has become a pain. High prices on disposable propane bottles, cracked glass globes (which could be an unbreakable material in these modern times), expensive and difficult and FRAGILE cloth mantles requiring extremely delicate handling have all taken their toll on my resolve. I decided to go with LED and now its time to be rid of all that other stuff. As soon as I turned these on, I decided to order 2 more. Hopefully that will turn out to be a good decision. But if needed there are many other brands out there so at least i'm on the path. Could they be better? Of course! BUT keep in mind these are only slightly more than a small cheap flashlight! $10! One reviewer complained about the hook. Come on! fix it the way you want it! It's easy to do! "Too bright" said another... that's also easy to cure! All these petty issues would have more importance if this lantern was two or three times more spendy. But it also shows how non-creative we Westerners have become. But I won't dwell on that. And if you get one that doesn't work??? Well you probably won't be able to fix it (like a propane lantern). Nor should you try. JUST SEND IT BACK for another. Or another. Eventually someone will get the message. If you resentfully keep it, the issue becomes your own problem. Enuf psych-101! Buy one or two! Learn how to use them and cycle them a few times and even if you don't camp, they WILL come in handy, if not absolutely necessary! Edit: The day after I received my first two, I ordered 2 more. No problems with them either. One each will go in the glove box of my 2 cars... thinking mostly about the SOS feature. Now...who has learned Morse Code????

This is a must have item for the camping trip. Two settings of brightness make it easy for the adjustment of how bright or dim you want it. It is small enough to bring it with you inside the tent when the night is over. Otherwise, put it on the picnic table or hang it on the tree brunch to light up your camping area. It has a little hanging hook on the top. It can be also used as a flashlight. Charing is a breeze with USB-c plug.

Battery life and charging are not very good! Performance is good because I always hooked it up in the charger that’s why it’s so bright now. I called and emailed Blukar Tech but unfortunately they never replied for some reason or another. I relayed to them in the email that the User Guide letters & writings are too tiny to even allow one to read them carefully. I had to use magnifying lens/glass. They are unreachable and not user friendly. I contacted them several times but they did not pick up or replied. So disappointing. I don’t like it. They should be more transparent. Thank you.

These are a great find. Rechargeable with good light that you can hang anywhere. I really like that the light folds out and directs the light downwards instead of in your face. These lights are small but light up a good sized area and have several settings. For under $10 it's a no brainer.

These are the best little lanterns. They're super bright. They charge up and they work again and they last all night on the low setting. I would definitely buy again if they were available for sale.

Buy this light!!! This is 100% the very best camping light weight have ever purchased. Charges super fast, holds a charge forever, so many options for lighting combos, incredibly bright, and it has a hook for hanging. Love that it fans out for more light also. Its super light and compact and is well built. I suggest this light ti anyone looking. We are seasoned campers and have been through many lighting options over the years. Out of all of them this is my favorite! Will definitely be purchasing more if we ever have a use for more lights. If you are between a few lights choose this one!! You definitely wont be disappointed 10/10 rhe absolute BEST camping light you can purchase!!
