Dewalt Dust Bag!
It's a dust bag for a Dewalt battery planer. It certainly fits snugly and yes does capture the dust and shavings effectively, but let's be honest that's what it's designed to do!I'm sure you can buy cheaper out there that will do the job but, if you're a little vain like me and want the lovely yellow logo on the side, then this is the bag for you.Quality wise, it certainly seems well made and robust. Time will tell!

Probably essential
I bought this when I bought the 18v planer.I thought it would at least keep most of the shaving in one place. It does it better than that. It works really well, it’s light weight so doesn’t affect the handling of the tool and all the shavings bar a very few get collected. It is easily detached from the planer and opens equally easily to ditch the shavings. It collapses down with clips on the material hooking over the main body. Easily unhooked when needed and springs up into its static size- of a small loaf.Recommend- unless you like chewing shavings.

Adapter that’s adaptable!
You can unclip it to fold it down when finished with. Sturdy adaptor made for DEWALT PLANER, but would probably fit other tools of different manufacture.

does a great job
It's incredible how much sawdust the planner shoots out. This does the job of retaining the shavings perfectly. Easy to empty and the spring in the bag can been compressed for handy storage

Huge but good
I expected a small dust bag like on my cordless sander but this one for the planner is huge. Shouldn't be a problem clogging. This dust bag is about the same size as the DCP580 cordless planner.
