Arrived with the package open, plastic had come away. Think more from maybe transport rather than a return as they looked unused. Fitted and works well. Pleased with it and I thought it was a good price.

These will only fit Hozelock hoses. But I will tell you that I've had this hose and casing for about ten years or more and it is a great product. Once in a while I have to change one of these connectors because of wear and tear but this hose is well worth it.
