Excellent keyboard for the price point!
This is my first mechanical keybaord. I thought I would go ahead and buy this product as I'm not happy about the value of the keyboards made the 'kings' of the mechanical keyboard market like Razor. Having being skeptical about using a small company, I was pleasantly surprised when this keyboard came. The keyboard itself feels great and has a nice sound, the Cherry MX red keys feel super responsive and give a great tactile feel when pressed. Additionally, the red back lighting is great and works well in all conditions! The back lights themselves also feature 12 unique back lighting modes which makes the keyboard not only fell great, but look the part too. there is also a game mode which temporarily disables the Window Key which can also be useful. the key caps themselves feel good and don't have any sharp edges. My only downside is that there seems to be a like of information about the keyboard which could put some potential buyers off. Overall, I feel the keyboard is a great investment for the price I payed (£79.99) and feels great for typing and competitive play on games such as Counter Strike. Having used membrane for the whole of my life, the jump to mechanical is definetly worth it and every keystroke just feels so much better! The keypuller than comes free is also very useful and allows people to easily pull the keys off without damaging them. I would recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for a keyboard featuring Cherry MX reds at the £80 pricepoint

Fantastic quality and wonderfully simple!
Fantastic keyboard. Built (almost) like a rock, but I'll get to that in a minute. I've been using it all day and it's been an absolute pleasure to type and play games with. The switches are of course fantastic and the setup was very simple (no software). This is a plain-and-simple mechanical keyboard for those who don't need all the bells and whistles of similar, more expensive products. The only thing I'd suggest is scrapping the 'cool gamer' font the key caps use; they just don't seem to fit with the professional aura this product gives off. There are only two build-related things to (nit)pick with this product but I doubt they are representative of every board manufactured. Firstly, the left foot-stand feels quite weak and is not as sturdy as the right one, which seems fine. The other issue is a bit of a weird one, I think I found a random spring under a key? Upon first opening the box I checked the keys and noticed the tab key was a bit squishy and made an odd sound when pressed. Using the tool I reseated the key and all was well. However, later I found the same issue with the CTRL key, and upon popping off the key a spring came flying out at me! I reseated the key and once again all was well, but I now have this rogue spring in my possession (see attached picture)? It doesn't seem to belong to the keyboard in any clear way so I can only imagine it fell in during manufacturing? Strange! Anyway, aside from the spring and foot stand this keyboard surpassed what I was expecting from such a small company. I'm very happy with the decision to support the company and I'd urge those of you looking for a nice, simple mech keyboard to do the same.

Perfect - just what I wanted
I've been looking for a long time for a simple mechanical keyboard with a UK ISO layout for a reasonable amount of money. This keyboard very much hits the spot. The only drawback I believe is the lack of information about this keyboard, both here on Amazon and on their own website, so it felt like a bit of a risk buying it. I'm very glad I did though, because I love it. - Genuine mechanical with Cherry MX red keys. - Branding/decoration is limited to a simple 'Qwazar' in the top right and a small logo on the spacebar (see pic), much more subtle than a lot of keyboards about. - It's got all the lighting modes (press Fn and '1' through '=') and you can change the brightness. None of that rainbow rubbish, it's plain red. - Best UK layout, meaning '\' next to left shift, '#' next to Return, and a full-sized Backspace - Fn and F1-12 are media keys: F1 opens My Computer, F2 opens browser (or homepage in browser), F3 opens calculator, F4 opens default music app, F5-8 are for music (back, forwards, play/pause, stop), F9-11 are volume (mute, down, up), F12 disables the Windows key (handy for gaming). I found out about them on Reddit. I gather that Qwazar is relatively new/small, so I feel like I'm supporting them as a company, especially if they continue to make keyboards like this one. They have identified a hole in the keyboard market, and have filled it perfectly.

Good keyboard, with some inconsistencies
Really nice keyboard looks, and the fonts are quite nice to look at. You get the authentic feel and sound of the cherry mx red switches and a logo that isn't intrusive. I rated this 4 stars because of some design choices. -The F12 key only lights up when you disable the Windows key, and there's no way to get it lit without it. -Caps lock feels a bit sluggish and hard to tap at (i use caps lock as backspace and it's really hard to erase many letters in little time) -The keys on the right side (insert, home etc) have what it feels like to be a different font, or an inconsistent one. Overall a really great keyboard. (if you don't care about some of the bad design choices)

The keycaps are upside down, it's driving me nuts.
On what planet do you decide to reverse the shifted key layout on the keycaps so they're upside down? I just don't get it. I am sure it's fine for touch typists, but some of us still look at the keys on occasion. It's really off-putting. I read that apparently it's because the LED illuminators in the keyswitches are towards the upper half of the switch, well you could have turned them the other way up and have a standard keyboard. It's like riding a joke bicycle where the handlebars are the wrong way around. Like deep fried Mars bars. Or getting in a car where the accelerator and brake pedals have been switched around. Or upgrading to Windows 8.

Full size premium keyboard.
This keyboard is a really nice entry for me into mechanical keyboards. packaged very nicely (bit dusty but who cares). It comes in the box with a sturdy key cap remover that is as well moulded as they keyboard itself. the outer box has all the basic information as stated on the Amazon product page. On the overleaf of the lid there is a nice graphic depicting all the lighting effects and controls top use them, in the box you get a small leaflet with all the key functions and lighting commands (very useful). They keyboard itself features Cherry MX red keys with a full size layout which was important to me as like my hot keys. Typing on this keyboard is very nice and smooth. Gaming on this keyboard is flawless in terms of actuation time and the rest. I have played CS:GO, Smite and LoL all perfect to be played on this keyboard. the one thing I will note is that the space bar feels extra sensitive and light for my taste.

This keyboard feels very solid and the back light is bright but not distracting. As someone who has had MX black switches and MX blues, The red switches feel very natural to type on. The F12 key lights up when you press FN+F12 as an indicator if the windows key has been disabled temporarily which is perfect for gamers and people who just hate misclicking the windows key. (which is often if you are pressing CTRL but fat finger the windows key) The cable is not a removable cable which you see in keyboards like the Razer Black widow Ten keyless. overall this keyboard is perfect if you want a solid keyboard and MX red switches for typing or playing games you will not be disappointed, Although you cannot change the color of the back light there are 12 different modes in which you can customize i prefer having the standard mode but its all preference.

REALLY pleased
Why I've waited so long to get a mechanical, I don't know. The lightest touch and the typed letter appears, and, scooting across keys typing, particularly with the backlight giving my fat fingers accuracy, I swear my typing skills have improved several degrees. Good solid, heavy (if used to light flimsy non-mechanicals) stays where it's put (particularly on gaming mat ordered a few days after). All in all, a great purchase, and one I'd recommend.
