RUB 'N Buff - Antique Gold, VWARNB02

I bought this to improve an ugly grey floor lamp I rescued. It was so easy to use and very quick to dry, and the result is fantastic. Now the lamp looks 10 times better than when I got it.

I've seen this on my socials and was a bit dubious about it. However, I'd bought some frames from the charity shop and thought I'd give it a go. It was a bit messy as I used my finger instead of a cloth (came off ok) but it was super easy to use and it worked brilliantly! The tube is small but you only need a little bit. I did 3 big frames and 2 smaller ones and I've loads left. I also like that it dries quickly, so none of this leaving overnight malarkey. Definitely recommend giving it a go!

I was recommended this by my brother in law to make several Ikea white frames gold - I wasn’t sure of it at first such a small tube. AMAZING stuff one tiny tube did a large frame and 8 smaller frames - all I did was wipe down the surface and apply - finish is just what I wanted in a nice gold colour. Top tip apply with a small soft brush I used a kids painting brush that was more brittle for the patterned parts of the frames and it covered it all a treat! Photo attached was grey plastic before!

It’s only slightly bigger than a tiny single use tube of glue A little goes a long way looks like a barely touched it Recommend get a lighter brassier copper shade with an antique gold Sand surface, clean, dry, rub & buff, 1-2 layers dry, use top coat or uv enamel If you can wear disposable gloves to rub in, didn’t need paint brush, used toothpick grainy finish semi matte finish, use 2000 grit between coats for smooth finish

So easy to use. A little goes a long way. Would definitely recommend.

Very small amount for the price

As previous reviewers have stated, it’s a great product that goes a long way. I bought it for the letterbox but didn’t like the effect on that but have used it on other items, such as drawer knobs and plastic keys to create a bronzed effect and they look great. I’ve even used it in the tarnished door spyhole.

L'article à presque mis un mois à arriver mais c'est un excellent produit ! Je vous le conseil, je l'utilise pour un cosplay et rien qu'une noisette de peinture recouvre une énorme surface. Produit ultra pigmenté m'a permi de faire : un katana de 1m47, un casque ultra détaillé, un bras d'armure ainsi qu'une ceinture et des petits ornements d'armure et je n'ai même pas utilisé la moitié. Je recommande grandement ! Sur les photos que j'ai joint il n'y a qu'une couche de peinture, je n'ai pas repassé dessus.

This stuff is great. Easy to use and it adds beauty to whatever you use it on. Love the color. It dries fairly quickly. The smell isn’t great but it dissipates rather quickly. So far it’s been very durable on the few projects I’ve used it on. Still planning to use on many more things. Will definitely buy another tube when this one runs out. The price seemed steep for a small tube but it’s thick and a little goes a long way.
