Plant Caddy with Wheels

Very easy to assemble, and to adjust to pot size. Ideal for large, heavy containers that may have to be moved on a patio. Strong and easy to move, it looks smart and quite discreet in use.

Excellent product. Sturdy build. Wheels very easily. Far superior to the wooden one we had before which rotted. It comes in parts which have to be assembled but instructions, screwdriver and screws are supplied and it all fits together very easily.

We have three of these and in general are very happy with them. The product is well made and easy to assemble and use. Unfortunately, the last one is only a few weeks old and has already had a broken spring clip, which operates the wheel lock. The clip was already rusting and has snapped in two, and that wheelset no longer locks in place. There are three more locks which still work so not a problem at present but doesn't bode well for the future. Are there any spare steel clips available - I'm ok with fitting a replacement?

We have 20+ year old Ficus which is so big and heavy now that it likes to crush wooden pot movers. So for this latest replacement I looked for something better. This product is less pretty than wooden pot movers in my opinion. But it's well built, easily adjustable, and very sturdy. Double wheels in each location, great quality, proper bearings for horizontal rotation (something I didn't usually find on wooden pot movers) . It's really easy to push even our heavy plant around. This is also bigger than any wooden pot mover I've had, even at its smallest setting. Basically this is the product you want for big heavy pots.

Use this to move a cactus plant from its summer to winter quarters and vice versa. The plant and pot weighs more than 100KG and is covered with sharp spines. Prior years I have had to drag the pot or try to roll it gently and got several (hundred on occasions) spines in me. Once I got the plant and pot onto to this beauty, no more risk, in a matter of minutes I could move the plant from under cover to the display site and then back again in the Autumn. The wheels are of a sufficient diameter such that it copes with most ridges and bumps on my block paving. The platform is adjustable so when I next pot the plant up into a bigger pot, the caddy grows with it. This is a brilliant caddy and well worth the extra it cost.

Good and strong

Easy to put together, perfect size for my pot, easy to manoeuvre BUT very unsightly in such a short time . Less than 8weeks & rusted at all wheels. Really positive reviews online, have I been very unlucky? I tried to contact the seller for advice but can only contact Amazon who say they will take it back BUT I really need this item. Should I take my chance & order another??? Update - I am going with the refund Amazon offered and received my returns label a day ago. Today the seller has contacted me after seeing this review (which I do appreciate) and offered their apologies and a full refund. I have already sourced another type and ordered it (as I could not do without one) but they did hope I would try another one and I can say that once the seller was able to contact me directly their customer service was very good and they have advised that I do not need to return the item which saves me a journey to the courier drop off.

Great item for moving garden pots

I was very pleasantly surprised to find this plant caddy to be as advertised. It rolls very well, the casters are strong and fluid in their movement. It was nice to see that an extra screw was provided for people like me that are always dropping one into some void of no return. In addition the screws are a quality alloy and not the cheap sort that strip if you look at them wrong. They matched well with the provided Phillips screwdriver. My only concern, provided this item fields the weight it claims to support, is the use of plastics. In particular the plastic tabs that lock and unlock the extension/expansion bars that allow for various sizes of planters or pots. These lock-tabs should be metal. They may not have problems with indoor use, but will easily become brittle and snap off after being exposed to long periods of sunlight, and frankly that is where most folks will use this - outdoors in direct sunlight. I’d knock off half a star minimum for this risk. Plastics always deteriorate with heat and sun. Also, the screws provided are used to secure the casters into plastic sockets. As I said, the screws and castors seem very well made, but this is a weakness. Though not exposed directly to the sun, should one of them fail/split or become stripped the stand will quickly be compromised. Assembly was seamless, though a bit tedious, and the instructions clear. All in all I am initially pleased. I’ll update this should problems arise. The item seems solid overall and a good value.

These took our 2 very large terracotta pots perfectly and moved them across rough concrete yard easily. Clear instructions made assembly uncomplicated. Not too visible, we had the black. Will buy again when needed.

Über die Merkmale Qualität,Wetterfest und Robustheit kann ich noch nichts sagen,da der Pflanzroller erst ein paar Wochen im Einsatz ist. Er ist einfach zusammen zu bauen und macht einen guten und stabilen Eindruck. Gekauft wurde er,da bei unserem 45Kg Beton-Schirmständer mit 52cm Durchmesser , die Räder defekt waren. Der Rolli trägt also nun die Last von 45kg plus den großen Gastroschirm mit 3,5m Durchmesser. Es ist erstaunlich wie leichtläufig die Räder sind und gut das jedes eine Bremse hat.
