Simple and Accurate
1) Download the app and open it. 2) Pair via Bluetooth by resting the little device on your device screen 3) After a seamless pairing, give your sensor a name and set any temperature upper/lower limits if you like and that’s it! So SIMPLE.It’s great when things just WORK without any hassle or head scratching and these little sensors do exactly that. I bought three for a several Japanese antiques made of steel, timber and silk which rest in air-tight cases and they’re perfect. The graphs of the data are easy to read but if you’ve set narrow limits, say 45-55% relative humidity, the graphs swing alarmingly even though the changes are tiny; perhaps plotting the values at log (base 10) would compress them a bit so you don’t panic.I tried purchasing a further two sensors a few days after receiving my first three but they were out of stock (‘…and we don’t know if and when they’ll be available again.’). Only one other retailer had them in the UK and at a premium price! I look forward to good ol’ Amazon receiving more stock.

Easy to use, accurate, reliable
I bought this sensor nearly 2 years ago for indoor use, because I wanted to see the trends in temperature and humidity in a specific room. It has served me well ever since - no battery change required yet. It's very simple to set up and use, and I'll certainly be buying more if/when my data logging needs expand.I didn't have to perform any calibration, as occasional tests against high accuracy equipment showed me it was quite good at its job without it.One downside is that the phone won't connect to the sensor automatically unless you open the app (presumably to save battery life), so I do have a gap over the summer when I forgot about it for a few months - the backlog of something more than 20 days helped bridge that, but wasn't quite enough. Still, that's my own fault for forgetting, not the product's! They made the WiFi Gateway partly to avoid data loss, but I've decided my need for that is not great enough at this point.Pros:- easy to set up- easy to use- accurate- long life- good app interface, allows for viewing of all the data (I know a cheaper similar product only shows up to the last 100 days, for example, which is just... strange?)- 20 day internal backlog is pretty good (again, the cheaper similar product I've seen needs to connect daily)- can export data to CSV files (and view with your favourite spreadsheet tool)Cons:- can lose data if you forget about it for too long (unless you also have the WiFi Gateway)- not waterproof (so you probably want something more robust for outdoor use)- not the cheapest

No maintenance, accurate, simple.
(April 2019, 2 YEAR update! - Both sensors are still going strong, with a battery voltage of around 2.8 volts (I thought the battery lasted only 1 year? double that, and no sign of low battery). One's in the work office, and one's in my bedroom, over 600,000 readings for each. The app works fine with this much data on the Android system, and the CSV files export fine into Excel. NO crashes, NO needing to remove/insert the battery, not once, The Android app's never crashed. These ARE expensive, but I got what I paid for, and they do that very very well.)The device is simple to get started with - you download the App for Android, or iPhone, run it, and drop the thermometer block on your screen for a few seconds. That's it.Whenever you open the program, it reads all the temperatures and humidities that were collected since the last sync up.There's a new "Sync station" that picks up all your devices temperatures, and sends them to the gadgets website - where you can see them.It uses your existing WiFi network to send the data to the website, and the Low Energy Bluetooth connection between the WiFi and gadget.Info (pros):The battery lasts 1 YEAR, and can be replaced easily (no screws, just a plastic card like a credit card). The device can store AT LEAST 20 days of temperature and humidity - MORE if the temp doesn't change often, as it only stores temp changes and their date/time.You can CALIBRATE the device (instructions on the website). You can EXPORT all the readings your phone has picked up as an Excel compatible CSV file. You can give each sensor a name. The syncing distance is as good as claimed - it syncs across my house.(Cons):Temperatures are lost when it's re-calibrated.£50 at time of this review... Oww! . (But if you want "It just works!" - this is the device for you)The device IS NOT waterproof. But you can put it in a baggie. No direct-to-PC syncing.(For devices scattered around the house for example)

Works as it should, no fuss
+Works well+Compact form factor+App is simple to use+No charging required-The graph display is good, but lacks the ability to zoom to an intermediate level, say between 'hour' and 'day', which I would find useful-There is a significant lag (tens of minutes) in reaching a very different temperature (e.g. from room temperature to fridge), thus it cant be moved around quickly to check the temperature in different locations (one could, however, use more than one sensor if needed).

Perfect sensor
Great product and user interface. Simply pop it where you want to measure temperature / humidity and monitor its output to your heart's content, graphically or export a spreadsheet of all the collected data. The only issue currently is SensorPush - if you leave SensorPush turned on (the bluetooth link between your phone and the sensor) and you are within range of the device, it eats through your battery on your phone with the minute by minute updates. Being in the same room with the sensor, over 24 hours my phone battery normally reduces from 100 to 50% in a day. With SensorPush on it has reached 10% by evening. The manufacturers are aware of this issue and are saying they will fix this problem at some point. Until then I have to manually turn bluetooth off and back on every time I want to get the latest temperature data.Brilliant apart from this.Updated 2020An update fixed the battery bug. Then some issue occurred that stopped it communicating. Customer support at SensorPush was brilliant and they sorted it out.I have two of these sensors and they simply work perfectly, recording and graphing the temperatures for years now. Deservedly upgraded it to 5 stars.

Elegant, accurate, hassle-free and versatile
Bought this to monitor humidity and temperature for my mandolin in its hard case. It's ideal. Setup was a breeze ( both on my iPad and my android phone); readings very accurate (compared to a recently fully calibrated Kestrel weather device). The Bluetooth range is impressive. Compact size is great for an instrument case. The battery supposedly should last about a year, so no recharging hassles, no sockets to get damaged or cables to lose, and battery replacement looks easy. The app is clear and elegant. There is a facility to email yourself a Csv file of all data for use in a spreadsheet. There are cheaper options for this type of monitoring, but this is top notch. Apparently there are plans for a wifi bridge, which might be useful for some users who need to monitor when away from the sensor location (the device itself retains about 2 weeks worth of data). When Amazon was out of stock of this item, I contacted SensorPush and they got back to me immediately with accurate information about the restock date: so all the signs of excellent customer service. I will update in a few months time on long term performance, but for now I am completely satisfied.

Excellent but with range issues
This device together with the WiFi Gateway gives me all the information and alerts I need for my wine cellar. Temperature and humidity readings can be calibrated for accuracy. The major issue I have is with the extremely poor range probably because the cellar is fully insulated. The Gateway struggles to receive the readings from the sensor from less than 5 metres away just the other side of the wall/door with nothing else in the way. They communicate via a version of bluetooth which clearly cannot cope with the insulation. This means I have had to buy separate Gateways for the sensors in each of my cellars to get reliable readings. If you’re using this setup where insulation isn’t an issue then I would recommend this setup without reservation. By the way, support from the US is exemplary.

Does its job perfectly.
SensorPush products are excellent, and I wouldn’t look anywhere else for remote temperature and humidity monitoring equipment. Yes, the price is on the high side, but well worth it. The company have clearly thought through very thoroughly the design of their products. The result is a sensor that looks well manufactured, is easy to set up and use, and works seamlessly and reliably with the Gateway. Moreover, comparing its readings with other equipment I have, it is very accurate. The free App is a classy piece of software; lovely user interface. I can’t fault it. Well done SensorPush.

Best investment ever!
I’ve been using SensorPush for over four years, and it’s become an essential part of running our ice cream shop. We have a WiFi Gateway and eight sensors throughout our business monitoring room temperatures, refrigerators, and freezers. The peace of mind this system provides is invaluable. At any moment, I know exactly what’s happening in the shop, even when I’m away. Having all of this data in one app helps me make informed decisions. I can quickly tell if a freezer is in a defrost cycle, if a piece of equipment is failing, or if our HVAC system is keeping up.The sensors have saved us from product loss more than once. They’re accurate, reliable, and easy to manage.I’ve also contacted SensorPush support a few times over the years, and every experience has been excellent. The team has always been responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful.I recommend SensorPush to anyone who needs dependable temperature monitoring. If they ever release a sensor that connects to our app so I can monitor our leased freezers that are used all throughout our city in various locations, I’d be first in line to buy them.10 out of 5 stars. I couldn’t recommend this product more.

Accurate, Cost-Effective, and Versatile
I use these data logging thermo-hygrometers to monitor and record jobsite conditions for the installation of temperature and humidity sensitive building materials. The accuracy and functionality of these units in the hands of somebody who understands them is fantastic for the price-point. Previous similar tools that I have used cost upwards of $300 and don't have replaceable batteries. The alerts and reporting have saved us from several failures and our customers love them. I use the reports for warranty-claim validation as well.Others have commented on a lack of accuracy and insufficient calibration range. It should be noted that temp/rH sensing elements are sensitive electronics and could arrive damaged and that they do not last forever. When I receive them and set them up, I check their calibration against my $700 thermo-hygrometer and they are almost always within 1% rH and 2 degree F when I get them out of the box. The last jobsite I setup, I had to adjust the rH about 4% to calibrate the SensorPush, but that was easily done.Nothing is perfect and sensitive electronics can fail, but I highly recommend these units!
