amazing tool for a junior doctor
amazing tool for a junior doctor. does not leave my bag. the ergometric shape is perfect to test reflexes and love the fact that you can check sensory. now I am super excited to perform a full neurological examination during my oncall. I will highly recommend this to any doctors wishing to purchase a light, easy to carry and easy to use , tendon hammer with hidden extra feature

Good product
It's my first reflex hammer so I can't really compare it to others. But it feels like a good quality product, the skewed weight of the device permits easy eliciting of reflexes. Havent used the cutaneous reflex brush just yet, but I can assume it will make life alot simpler.

Best equipment ever!
Amazing! Everything you need and so easy to use. Not cumbersome and easily cleaned between patients. I love the how the bottom comes out to test sensation. Brilliant piece of kit for any nurse practitioner!

brush
Brush is poor quality at the bottom and is difficult to place back in so after a few uses will get all bent .

Perfectly designed reflex hammer with bonus tools.
I am a GP and this is the most comfortable tendon hammer I have used. As with any change in equipment it takes a bit of practice (on your relatives of course). The rubber is soft and comfortable. The brush that unscrews from the sharp point is a bonus. The price is great too. Fits nicely in my bag as shorter than the classic long thin plastic one with a circular head.

Superb tendon hammer
Great tendon hammer- purchased this for use in GP practice after having another queen square type hammer that fell apart. Solid and great quality product (lifelong guarantee too)- not disappointed with this purchase at all. Should have bought it years ago! Very easy to elicit reflexes with it.

Multi-purpose tendon hammer/sensory assessment. Sturdy and solid. Small enough to fit in pocket. Excellent buy.

Perfect product and fast delivery
Only one question I ask myself is.... Where were you for last 4 years... Pins and cotton all over clinic, no more! Perfect product and fast delivery. So easy to store, and to carry around

Great hammer!
Bought this to replace a babinski style that was just WAY too hard to be hitting my fingers with for biceps reflex. The tips are much softer so they do not hurt when hitting my thumb, or even the brachioradialis against the radius. It is well balanced with a flexible handle. I was worried it would be too flexible and would have to upgrade to the metal handle but so far this has not been the case since the hammer really does all the work. It comes with a brush in the handle for light touch sensation. I don't know if I will use this unless it's in a pinch and I can't find a paper clip or tongue depressor. The bush also has a cowl that makes a little rattling sound in the handle. It doesn't bother me, I stopped noticing it after a couple hits, but if little sounds bother you you could always tape the cowl over the brush. The "babinski point" is not as sharp as my previous hammer (that one was basically a nail), however I am apprehensive to use it, I don't think it is sharp enough to break the skin, but it is more sharp than most other hammers I've used. It is longer than most Taylor hammers or my previous collapsible babinski so it does stick out of the white coat pocket a bit. It stays put though because the head is weighted so nicely, just be careful bending over, you'll stab yourself in the abdomen with the point. Overall: well weighted, hammer, effective for eliciting every reflex, definitely the best reflex hammer I've used so far in my short career. PAS-1 As a side note, If you screw the point hiding the brush on too tightly it becomes VERY difficult to get out, thus eliminating the idea you could use the brush in a pinch unless you happen to carry a pair of pliers with you as well.
