Entered into the world of Home Brewing - thanks 'YouTube' 🙄 But great bit of kit, comes with instructions - great for working out those ABVs.

This is a great hydrometer. Brewed some beer for the second time ever. The hydrometer said it was 5.5% We dismissed it as bollocks. 1 hour later we are absolutely drunk 😂 👍

nice simple bit of kit, has bassically every reading you could need. easy to use. main points: gives estimated % for what to expect after brewing has suggested ideals for types of drinks good sugar content readouts simple and easy to use regardless of if you are a professional or just getting started a must have for proffessionals or beginers for a great price

Does what it needs too, good quality and easy read scale.

The scale says that an OG of 1.080 will result in just shy of 13% ABV, instead of about 10% I'm assuming that the gravity reading is correct but now how can I be sure any readings I take with this are right. I'll have to weigh out some sugar and water to test it.
