Paul Smith Rose Eau De Parfum, 100ml

I absolutely love this perfume - now very difficult to get hold of. I adore rose based smells and I think this is the very best. If you find it - buy immediately!!

I was doubtful of buying a perfume that was unknown to me without smelling it first, but this is wonderful. Yes, it smells like a rose, but so much more. It’s soft and feminine, and has staying power. It dries down to a nice complex floral smell, not overly rosy. I’ve been keeping it in my living room and spraying a tiny bit in the air because I enjoy it so much. My husband also remarked how good it smells, and he has never commented on any of my perfumes before. The 100 ml bottle is huge, and the price is therefore very reasonable. I’ll buy this again, highly recommend.

I bought this perfume based on the strength of all you other lovely reviewers who rated it so highly, and I am so glad I did - it is fantastic! It does smell of a very delicate rose, but there is more to it - very sophisticated and feminine - really, really love it, so a big thanks for the reviews on here. I will be keeping this one as my personal favourite. Beautifully packaged as well. The box is pretty enough, but when you open the box up, the actual bottle is inside a cotton, draw-string miniture rose-print bag!!! Little touches that make it even more special - and great if you are sending as a gift. I cannot think of any woman who would not love this scent. Good value for 100mls too!! Highly recommended. Fast delivery too (as ever with Amazon)

Light pleasant fragrance.

I was very excited to try this perfume after reading the other reviews i needed a perfume to replace my bottle of Flower Bomb after my sons friends emptied it at his birthday party - not v.pleased . I must say i was a bit let down, don't know what roses smell like in other places but they must smell different here, it was a nice scent but not like a real fresh rose . It reminded me of when i was a child and i visited my great Aunt (so it does smell like old lady perfume) who had a cream prefume in a pink glass jar which smelled just like this- I think it was from Avon but this was over 30 years ago. I will keep looking for my perfect scent (or maybe get more flower bomb?) and while looking will use this as it is nice, it gets better throughout the day and is cheap enough for me to use as an every day scent .

Love this perfume but I can't find it anywhere

I usually don't care much whether a perfum is feminine or masculine. I just go with the best scent there is, whether it's for men or ladies. I won't describe myself as a parfum freak, but a nice scent doesn't hurt me at all. I have used a couple of parfums lately and they are all nice. So i decided to try this one, and I was pleasantly suprised. A lot of my friends have had one nice thing or the other to say about the scent, ad I absolutely love it. ..and Amazon price is unbeatable (in most cases). If you are looking for a perfum that smells so nice, and stay for at least 24 hours,...this is the one! Will I buy it again, I actually do every couple of weeks.

Rose Quest. I've been on this rose perfume hunt for about a month. Ordering lots of samples and testing them. My favorite rose scent was discontinued. Researching possible rose scent on Fragrantica.com but there a hundreds and hundred of them. Some of the perfumes I have tested cost about $300+ for about 3 oz. So far I have found that Goutal's Rose Absolue is the best that I have tested, but it is discontinued and costs a good deal. Rose Absolue has no scent other that 6 different roses so the top note, heart note and base note are all roses. It does lasts a long 4-5 hours and is the most realistic rose scent I have tested. I feel like the Goldilocks of rose perfumes - some too sweet, some too spicy, some too evening wear, some too intense, some with Oud, some too powdery Grandmother smelling, and some just strange to my nose. I wanted a rose perfume that smelled like it came out of my garden in the morning before the heat changed the scent. More of a David Austin English or Damask type rose. Fresh, clean, dewy. Nothing vampish. I read good reviews about Paul Smith Rose and the price was good. I was very pleasantly surprised that this is a very realistic rose scent. And since I have about 50 roses; selected not just for their form but their scent in my gardens I know roses pretty well. This isn't a deep dark rose but more of an fresh, early morning, pink rose. I do wish the longevity was better but for this price one can always respray in about 3-4 hours. I get about 1-2 hour of good projection and then the scent sits closer to the skin. Can't stop smelling my wrists. I've been wearing it to bed because it puts me in a good mood being able to smell the scent as I fall asleep. To me is smell more like a Taif or Grasse type rose versus something more deep and spicy like a Bulgarian or Turkish rose scent. If they could invent a Taif rose scent hat lasted longer than a couple hours I would be in heaven. Signature Rose by Zaharoff is also a good unisex one but the price is three times what Paul Smith Rose costs. Fragrantica states: Top notes are Rose, Green Tea and Violet; middle notes are Turkish Rose and Magnolia; base notes are Musk and Cedar. Gives it a 4.19 out of 5 which is a high rating for reviewers who are true perfume critics. If you are looking for a fresh, clean smelling rose I don't think you can go wrong with Paul Smith Rose especially for the modest price.
