how long the battery last on this? Mine only lasted 5 months

28th of April 2022 I replaced the battery in my mouse with a very cheap one from Poundland, it was still working yesterday, (10th April 2023) but starting to get a little sluggish when used 3 metres away from the laptop, (sat on the sofa playing a simple game using the TV as a monitor.) so I changed the battery for another one from Poundland.

Where is the button to switch devices?

Hi - there's a small round button just behind the Mouse Wheel. You can see it on the image. There's a small "1" and "2" on top of the mouse as well. A small Green light will light up at the "1" or "2" depending on which Device you are using.

Can you change the DPI on this mouse?

There is no way to do this direct from the mouse, but Windows, macOS and most Linux distributions have the option to change this in software, usually under Mouse settings.
