Studio Series Artist's Tiles: White (75 Pack)

A surprisingly good surface for small watercolours!I bought these as an experiment. Though curious, I didn't have high expectations as painting watercolour onto card (even 300 gsm card) can be disappointing if / when there is no "sizing" used during the manufacture of the card.I have no idea if they contain sizing but have been very pleasantly surprised and have ordered a second batch - but see below for a word of caution about the way Amazon packages these:I am nearly half way through my initial pack of 75 in only a week so I ordered them again. Unlike my first order which had other items and all arrived in a rigid box, my second order was just for these cards and Amazon sent them in an envelope rather than in a box. The cards are therefore a bit bent and if this has reduced their usefulness I will send them back as damaged. I will order again but will make sure there are other items on the order so that Amazon uses a protective box not a flexible brown envelope.

Perfect for entangle work. Good size. Good quality paper.

Great for daily Tangling

These could be used for many things in a craft room. I plan to use them as swatch cards by punching a hole in the corner and attaching them to a binder ring. Nice thickness and quality to the card and smooth texture. Could be used with many media.

I use these for 'zentangle' drawings/doodles. They hold up really well, bought 5 packs of these over the last year. For ink drawings they are perfect, never used them with paints sorry.

Ideal for Zentangle or any small art project, this is lovely thick card with a good smooth finish that takes most types of pen ink well, I've used fineliners, brush pens, fountain pens, coloured pencil and graphite pencil with great results, there's no bleed through from fountain pen ink either. The small size with the curved corners is pleasing to the eye, I often do small images to give to friends and family, its a quick way to work on techniques on decent paper on a small scale, and the ideal size to pop a few in your handbag or painting kit. The tiles are held together with a simple band of paper, a box would have been nice but at this price that's a minor quiibble. I note they're available in a black version too, intriguing!

Really good quality, great for Zentangle. Nice rounded corners

Lovely cards to Zentangle on and a good price too.Microns, Uni Super Ink Markers, Edding Paint Markers, Winsor & Newton Indian ink and even a Stabilo highlighter have ALL taken to the card surface without bleeding through so far! But as usual & true to type, my Sharpie was the only pen that bled. Although, I have to say, it wasn't very much but you could see it was trying to.I'd definitely recommend these as a cheaper alternative to the official Tangle cards.Speedy delivery. I ordered these Standard Delivery on the Saturday and they arrived the very next day!!! ;o)

Ich nutze diese Tiles, um das Tanglen zu üben. Diese sind wesentlich günstiger als die Original Tiles von Zentangle.Die sind natürlich sehr weiß, nicht so "dunkelweiß" wie die Originale, aber die Papierqualität ist topp! Und es drückt auch nichts durch.Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Ottima qualità!! Mi trovo molto bene con questo tipo di carta, l'ho provata con acrilici, acquerelli, inchiostro, matite colorate e copic markers. Per me poi questa è la dimensione perfetta visto che mi piace lavorare su disegni piccoli.

Great tiles, good quality card.

This is really nice! Love the thickness. The package was delivered in a good condition. The cards were also packed nicely ensuring there are no folds and there was no delay in delivery. And because of the thickness, I have been able to try several mediums like ink, watercolour and even acrylics.

Las uso para hacer pequeñas pinturas en acuarela. No importa cuántas capas de pintura le pongas, no se daña el papel. Por su tamaño son muy monas.
