Perfect for keeping heat away from other areas
I do a lot of repairs with a small torch or heat gun. I use this product to keep the heat away from other areas that I am not working on. Works great. Very tough yet pliable.

I think it is a little "pricey" I use it to make gaskets for my espresso pot when I ruin the gasket by being side tracked and letting the water boil off causing my gasket to overheat. The problem is getting the gasket "just" the right size, it is best to use some very sharp scissors which "walked" out of my house so I use a sharp knife.
