Pixel 9 Pro XL Screen Protector Review
First and foremost, the fingerprint sensor on the Pixel 9 Pro XL DOES work with this screen protector, and it works rather flawlessly. Secondly, installation was a snap using the included guide frame - alignment was perfect, only took seconds to install. When installing, make sure you press the MIDDLE of the screen protector so it adheres from the middle out to the edges, rather than from the edges toward the middle. Otherwise, you'll end up with bubbles under the screen protector. These can be worked out using a dry cloth or paper towel. Touch screen responsiveness is excellent with this screen protector...be sure to enable "Screen Protector mode" within the Android OS by going into Settings > Display > Touch Sensitivity > Screen protector mode (enable this option). The ONLY drawback to this screen protector is that it nearly comes in contact with my Spigen Tough Armor case because the protector covers the entire screen. If it left just a smidge more of room around the edges I'd be less concerned about the case potentially causing the edges of the screen protector to lift. So far I have not had the edges lift on me but it's VERY, very close to where the case overlaps the screen edges. Some MAY have problems depending on the case.Overall this is a nice screen protector, definitely recommend it for protecting your Google Pixel 9 Pro XL Screen. The ease of installation and the fact that the fingerprint sensor remains functional with this screen protector installed makes it an excellent buy for under $10.

Great screen protector
This product is great and so easy to apply. Inside the package there is all you need to clean and prep your screen for application. And the guide to fit the screen is such a good tool. The screen shield is shinny and compatible with my phone and it's a pack of 3 so the value for the money is worth it. I like the appearance of my phone now

No black, bubbles, rainbows, or adhesion problems
Read a lot of poor reviews on screen protectors for the Pixel 3, but I took a chance getting these which had no reviews posted at the time of purchase. I'm glad I did.I wanted a tempered glass screen protector that:1. did not have a black frame,2. fit my phone well (with room for a case),3. was easy to install,4. did not leave bubbles, rainbows, etc,5. did not have touch sensitivity issues (such as non-contact areas), and6. did not have adhesion issues (like peeling up at the corners or edges).I got all that! And because it's a 3-pack, so did my wife, and my buddy down the street!I would caution you to double-check that your screen is free of dust before installing. I have one little spec trapped that I somehow missed. Also, someone else suggested applying it with the screen on and lit to make sure it's centered. That is a really good idea as I did mine with the screen black and it's a hair off center. But that's all on me. I actually think is good medicine for my OCD!At first it seemed like it was attracting a lot of dust, but after about a week of use, that's no longer the case. There's a definite gap around the sides but I think that's helpful for fitting a case that hopeful has a lip over the screen. It's not curved on the edges, but I don't think it needs to be. It looks like it will protect the active display portion of the screen. I would point anyone with a Pixel 3 to this product.Update Jan 2019: After about a month of use, no major issues. I did develop a crack on the upper right side near the power button. It's nearly imperceptible, but on a plain white background, looks like a very thin hair on the screen. I don't now how or when it happened, if it was due to a drop or maybe it's from my constant pushing of the power button, both to sleep the phone or active the camera.Either way, it doesn't affect the feel of the screen and I'm still happy overall, especially for the price. No cracks in my wife's (and no cracked screen more importantly).Update Mar 2019: 4 months of use now and other than that hairline crack that showed up near the power button, it's looking great. And the main thing is that it works and feels great. No peeling or tough issues.I'm thinking I'll order another pack though. My wife scratched her protector up in her purse (not bad), and between the spec of dust, slightly crooked placement, and hairline crack on mine, I'm thinking I can afford $10 to do it right. I use my phone daily (hourly really), so probably worth it, right?

Excellent protection, pretty okay to install, slight raised edge
Overall, I'm incredibly impressed, and the downsides are outweighed by its impressive durability. The screen took a bullet for my Pixel 3. And by took a bullet, I mean took my entire body weight (~160 lb) falling on it.My friend's apartment building had tile with no rug, and it had recently snowed. The tile was slick as all hell, but I almost always have good footing and can make it over slick surfaces carefully. Such was not the case this time.My legs flew out from under me and I fell right on my ass, my hands slapping the tile hard as I tried to catch myself. My phone was in my back pocket, and after having owned the damn thing three weeks, I was dreading having to say RIP.Took the phone out and the bottom right corner had slipped out of the case. That corner of the screen looked as though it was absolutely shattered, with larger cracks springing from there and crawling diagonally up the display. I wish I had taken a picture.Praying to the gods of electronics and whoever else might be listening, I lifted the cover and found the screen itself unharmed. The cover itself was a shattered wreck, but it did its job and absorbed the force of my plummeting plumber's crack. The phone itself seems to be working.Unfortunately, the installation was kind of meh. It's easy in theory, but I screwed up two of my three screens before getting the third close enough to right. My issue was persistent bubbles. A word of advice: When you remove panel 1 from the adhesive surface, do so with it facing down. I found dust kept landing on the adhesive before I could turn it over to apply it. (I should have paid attention and filled out the warranty, which is pretty generous. Alas.) I ordered a second set of these, and doing that I was able to get the first screen on perfectly on the first try. (And I definitely registered the warranty. Took all of sixty seconds.)My other beef is that the top edge, where you put your finger to swipe down to pull curtain/notification center, lifts noticeably above the surface of the device, so you keep getting that corner as your finger slides down. A small part of me is afraid I'm going to lift the screen off, though I don't think that's an actual problem. (Getting the screen on is a pain in the butt enough though that I'm not going to stress test and check that hypothesis.) I'm not sure if I adapted to it or if it got smoothed out from use on the previous screen, but I forgot that that had been an issue until just now when I put the replacement on.

Excellent screen protectors for a great price
I have ordered these amFilm screen protectors from TechMatte a couple of times now, for a couple of different phone models. The price is excellent for what you get, since you get three in every pack. Every once in awhile I drop my phone enough times that one of them finally breaks, but then I have a couple of backups and I can easily just change it out. They have always kept my actual screen behind them protected so that there's no damage to that. These apply really easily with the frame they give you to help line it up, plus they give you wet and dry wipes and a microfiber cloth to make sure the screen is completely clean before you apply the protector. It's not difficult to get additional bubbles out from under it after applying, and it looks great when it's done.I did have a problem with one of my orders where one of the screen protectors wasn't sealed like it was supposed to be and had dust attached to it right out of the box. So while that was disappointing, I contacted TechMatte, and they right away sent me an entire box of replacements and those ones are perfect, so now I have even more extra screen protectors. I'm still giving them five stars because of the excellent customer service and the fact that they sent me an entire new box like that, very quickly and at no cost to me. The customer service was great. I would recommend these protectors to anyone, this is definitely my preferred brand for value, ease of installation, and great quality.

Nice fully adhesive, no bubbles, but doesn't seem like a good fit overall.
I gave this product 3 starts because there are a few things I don't like about it, and a few things I do like about it.Pros: 1. Fully adhesive! This is nice because screen protectors with adhesive only on the edges are the worst for bubbles.2. It comes with a lot to make installation easy. The wipes, the card to smoothe, the tabs on the protector itself make it easy to align without touching the adhesive. The card is useful to get out bubbles3. It comes with three protectors in the pack4. It doesn't interfere with my case, my case fits on my phone with the protector on it.5. Better responsiveness touching the phone than previous protectors I've had.CONS1. it doesn't cover the front cameras. It is cut so that the cameras are left unprotected. I thought this was a bummer because I feel like the cameras are the most important part of the screen.2. It's really thick and the edges are not curved so you can really feel the edge when you scroll down from the top to check notifications.3. It seems a TOUCH too small. It doesn't cover the whole visible screen, leaving space where my actual screen is unprotected in between the edge of my phone / where my case ends, and where the protector starts. My previous screen protector didn't leave as much space as this one.OVERALL: I'll probabaly keep it for now but definitely going to continue to look for a screen protector that is fully adhesive but also covers the front cameras and has a curved edge.

Found a gem
This is an excellent protector for the money. I like the cutout design because it allows for easier cleaning (as opposed to the the fuller coverage ones where dust can accumulate in the small circle cutouts for the cameras/light senor, reducing picture quality, and you’d have to use a q-tip or something to clean them out). Also, it doesn’t have those black upper/lower strips (never really understood the reason for those).I previously had a Caseology (for reasons stated above) that had a more symmetrical cutout than amFilm’s, but I found that when I use my right thumb to pull down the top menu, my thumb gets caught on the sharp edge of the screen protector, so it would be really annoying, and would even hurt if I did it over and over again (I know you can use the fingerprint reader to swipe down the menu, but I don’t like using it). With the amFilm, though the design isn’t symmetrical, it provides more coverage on the upper right area of the screen where my thumb naturally reaches (no more snagging of the protector edge, and pulling down the top menu is now buttery smooth). The camera lenses/light senor remain unobstructed for optimal performance and easy cleaning. The Caseology came with a plastic guide for easy installation, but I found that even when I used it, the protector was slightly off. With amFilm, there were tabs on the top and bottom to hold onto to install it free-hand. I found this better so that I can fine tune exactly where I want to place it. I recommend going into your phone’s display settings and set the phone to sleep after at least 5 minutes of inactivity, navigate to a screen that’s mostly empty/white like Chrome’s homepage, and line up the screen protector to the edges of the white part of the screen. When you look at the screen at an angle, it may seem like it doesn’t cover the left/right edges of the screen completely, but you’ll find that it perfectly lines up edge to edge when looking straight on (whereas Caseology’s is actually slightly narrower, leaving annoying uncovered slivers on either side. This reduces usable screen real estate and is extremely annoying when trying to highlight words close to the edge of the screen. Most companies claim this is normal, and that any wider you’d have trouble with bubbles/dust getting underneath due to the inherent curving of the Pixel 3’s screen, but is less so of an issue with the amFilm).amFilm is $3 cheaper, and you get one more protector than Caseology. Not to mention one of the two protectors I got from Caseology was defective, so I only had the one chance to get it right. When installing the amFilm, I messed up the first one because someone called me, but this gave me the opportunity to test the strength of the glass. I barely bent the used Caseology and it easily broke (explains why it broke so easily in the first place). The amFilm required significantly more bending force for it to shatter. Once installed, I did not notice any reduction in performance. It’s clear, smooth, and responsive. I’ve felt smoother glass edges, but this one was nowhere near as sharp as Caseology’s and is much easier to live with.I didn’t mean to bag on Caseology so much (it was the only other brand I used so far that meets the design criteria of what I want in a screen protector), but the design and quality of a protector really does make a difference in the phone’s long-term comfort and usability. It goes to show that not all screen protectors are the same. I would even recommend people buying a low-quality protector just so they can appreciate this one that much more. But I’m writing this review so that you don’t have to do that 😉.Overall, excellent product. No major complaints. I would recommend it to anyone with the smaller Google Pixel 3, especially for the money.

Great screen protector
Mine did not come with an applicator despite the images saying applicator included. Luckily this was not a problem. This was the easiest screen protector I have ever applied. Simply line up the screens, then drop it and hold your finger in the middle of the screen. It worked flawlessly first time, no bubbles. It fits my Pixel 7 perfect. It feels smoother to swipe text too. It also seems to be more fingerprint resistant compared to my previous protector but that might be because it's brand new.I'm very happy with this screen protector but I wish it came with a back camera lens protector as well. I assumed it did but it doesn't, and that was my mistake for not checking first. Still a great front screen protector.

Great quality and fit.
Comes with 3 protectors. The screen protector themself are good quality, nice fit and has a nice anti fingerprint coating which makes the touch as smooth and clear as the original screen

Better than Whitestone Dome at 1/6th of the price
Pros:No image distortionTouch sensitivity stayed the sameGood oleophobic coatingYou get 1 spare glass if you're extra careful and 2 spare glasses if you're a young god or somethingCons: Covers the screen precisely edge to edge, so you need to install the glass while the screen is on to ensure a precise application, so that not one edge stays not covered. You basically get 2 practice runs and one real attempt with this kit. Don't touch the large dust removal sticker during your first attempt, it will come in handy later. On the first try I left a quarter of a millimetre of the screen not covered by the glass, and it looked mildly annoying, on top of that three specs of dust somehow got under the glass along with a tiny hair. I still went through the whole process of bubble removal just to practice for the second try, and before the second try I cleaned the screen again, turned on hot shower for 5 minutes, let the steam settle down and drag all stray particles of dust away, and then applied the glass in the bathroom.Make sure to treat the entire surface of the phone's glass with a dust removal sticker while inspecting it under a bright lamp, not leaving a single square millimetre untouched - it not just removes dust, it also removes any other residue left after wiping the screen with included cloth. Turn on the screen, and apply the protective glass carefully after that, aligning it with both left and right edges, making sure it sits evenly. Remove bubbles as stated in the manual. Voila, you did it right!

Better than other brand
This is my second set of screen protectors for the Pixel 3 and I much prefer them to the previous brand I used.Last time around I had issues with dust and water getting under the protector, but I've not had the same issues this time around. I equally like the fact that this protector is clear all over - my previous set had a black section at the top/bottom which can clip the screen if not correctly placed.I did have a slight issue with air getting trapped when applying it first time. However as I'd cleaned the screen well with the wipes provided I could lift the screen protector at one side and re-apply it without any further issues. The one minor downside is that it can feel odd when swiping down from the top as there's a cutout for the cameras and speaker. However I feel this is an ok compromise for preventing dust entering around these regions.Overall I've not noticed any lack in sensitivity or resistance when swiping around the screen. And I hope these will last much longer than the previous brand I used.
