It took me a few months to find stages 1-3 but I am happy I did! I had standard plate adjustable dbs with spin collars before I got power blocks. It’s changed the way I can work out. The weight can be changed fast so they are great for drop sets or just adjusting weight between sets. With my old db’s it took me 45sec to 1 min to change the weight. With power blocks it takes about 2 seconds. The convenience of these translates into a better work out and to me that is value for my money. They are also sturdy with strong welds and I am confident they won’t break even if I treat them a little rough. It does feel a little different than a traditional db because of the way the weight is balanced but that isn’t a complaint just an observation. If your a serious weight lifter and are looking into adjustable db’s I highly recommend these.
