Hextio Air Purifier

Awesome product and really works with odors

I purchased my Hextio about 2 years ago from their Kickstarter campaign (and they delivered it on time) and couldn’t be happier with this air cleaner. It definitely scrubs the air my family breathes and there’s nothing necessary to replace. No more costly HEPA filters to buy.

It just stopped working. It ran for just few min. and just stoped. I have been calling Amazon for replacement but no response from them and even the maker. No customer service for USA. Don't waste your money.

I'm very happy with this am moving it round the house. Has helped all my allergies lessen & clear my lungs from last bit of chest infection. The air feels fresh & clean very quickly. It does make a noise on night mode but very low and actually is almost calming so helps me sleep. I find the added but you can put essential oils in great. Just open up drop drop around 7 drops of your choice onto the top of pad & close. It does work if you use properly. It doesn't drop if you put on top of lad. Then I out oad back in at side where holes are and it makes the room smell nice. It is subtle but if you leave room for a but and walk back in you can definitely notice it. So I'm using lavender which is calming for night & bergamot during day as uplifting... I would definitely buy this product again... much cheaper to replace the pads every six months than my last machine plus the main bit is only every 3 years & theres videos on YouTube showing how also not too expensive for an amazing machine. Only complaint is next day price went up on Amazon I feel it should be £150 or less so more people can afford... it's an incredible machine that's very portable and powerful too. Kills everything in the air you can feel the difference within first 10 mins.

i bought two of these and use it on daily basis - for the babie's room and one for the living room. Its very quiet and doesnt wake up my son at all when he naps. Its given me so much peace of mind and comfort i cant live without it now!

Nice clean design. Simple to set up and was up and running in seconds out of the box. Very reassuring to know our indoor air is now protected. Great bit of tech. Many thanks

Purchased in order to reduce symptoms experienced during exposure to mould spores only. Comfort increased following use of this machine. I prefer silence when falling to sleep, so do not like the machine to be working at this time. I would not tolerate any machine noise on at sleep time, no matter how 'quiet' it was. I have given 3 stars for sleep mode but appreciate others may give it 5. I appreciate the machine's small size. Am pleased to have purchased it.

I tried this for one night in the kitchen (approx 12 sqm) to get rid of an airborne smell from under the house which comes inside the house whenever it is windy outside. In the morning, the smell was still there, although not as pungent as it would normally be. During the night, I could hear the Hextio working downstairs from the bedroom upstairs. Not happy. I guess this would be good for a very small room or a very well insulated room where the air stays the same, far away from people and definitely not for a bedroom at night. The noise of the fan is very loud (got an iPhone application to measure it): 60db when on red and working hard to clean the air, 45 - 50db when is just on and 40db in sleep mode. I though my old fridge was loud but this air purifier is definitely a winner in loudness. It is probably fairly priced for what it does and for the low energy consumption but I wish the manufacturer spent some time to insulate the noise.
