Olivia . . . and the Missing Toy

This is my family’s favorite Olivia story. So much fun to read to a little kid! Started with my oldest, and now this was a gift for my 2 year old niece. She loved it!

Book came in good shape!

We love Olivia and this didn’t disappoint.

I love this book and decided to purchase for my daughter. She loves the dark creepy cover art. She calls it a scary book. A fun idea for an almost 3 year old. I ordered with ease as always on amazon but when I received this it had different cover art than pictured. It had Olivia lifting a green couch, against a white background, looking for her toy underneath. Cute, yes, but not what I ordered. The stormy night with black background is pictured and that is the cover art I wanted. I heard from a local bookstore that the stormy night art is the original artwork that the book came out with but that the white background with the couch is the new artwork. Whether or not Amazon has both in stock I don't know. I was told I'd have to order it again and see what I get and then they would check on it..this to me is a waste of my time, shipping resources, and it's longer that we don't have the book that we want. I opted to return it and find it somewhere else, Ebay. I love Amazon but in this case I do wish they could of just looked into it for me rather than make me go through the order process again. They are potentially featuring something they don't have in stock, that should be enough reason to look into it asap.

Great books for boys or girls!

I thought this would be more like a hide and seek book. More about Olivia whining, plus one very scary picture. I ended up not giving it to my impressionable 3-year old.

This, plus 2 additional Olivia and 1 Peppa Pig, all for my precious youngest grandchild’s fifth birthday. They are all a hit. So glad they came in so quickly. Thanks Amazon!

My 3-1/2 year old granddaughter loves the Olivia books. I think this is her favorite story, and we read this episode a lot. It is very real-life humor when the mom does all the work, and Olivia is so appreciative of her Dad instead. Highly recommend. Bought a used, hard-cover edition, and it was in terrific condition.
