why did the foam come up in the other side of my sink instead of the disposer side?

Because of the expansion of the cleaning chemicals and with the disposal running it pushed it through the pipes.. This is good too for it helped clean the other side of the sink also. Mine done the same thing...

We dont have a garbage disposal. Can i use it to just deodorize the sink? I need something.

I would say no as a disposal owner. You need to drop the pellet into the garbage disposal unit turn on water and then disposal unit to activate the pellet. You don't want your hands touching this stuff. If you want to deodorize your sink fill it with hot water, dish soap and some bleach. Let it soak for 20 minutes and wash it out. Use a brush to clean the drain part.

Says septic PIPE safe, seems like a way to get around it not being overall septic safe...so is it septic safe????
