JCLOUD Smart Scent Air Machine for Home, Black

I was skeptical. This is my first cold air diffuser purchase. After weeks of researching brands I landed on this one. It has been running in the living room of my home for 6 months now, I feel as tho I can give a full review. I LOVE this machine. It is by far my favorite home purchase. I pair mine with Vinevida scents, which smell absolutely lovely in my home. I purchased this unit because with the Amazon deal being ran it was the least expensive unit with the best reviews on the internet. This machine is powerful & surprisingly durable. I have it on a schedule to run daily and it runs with no hesitation. It’s surprisingly quieter than my homedic & sentiment tower diffuser, which was a pleasant surprise. When placed on the floor it’s virtually silent, but when placed on my mantle it has a slight rumble vibration sound when it goes off but it is not distracting at all. It’s barely noticeable just slightly more than when on the floor. I do notice when I changed the oil in the unit that a little bit will run down the side of the bottle, but that’s only when replacing the oil. As long as the bottle is kept up right it appears to be less prone to leaking. I have not had a problem with leaking while running this machine only when refilling the oil bowl. The versatility of this unit while I have not tried this myself. The company claims that it can be hooked up to the HVAC units and pump through the vents directly. If I decide to do this, I may get another unit because I enjoy having mine in my living room for instant scent if needed. It is easy to change in the app how much scent you require in your home. I have two big dogs, a small dog and two kids under 10 years old. It is convenient to be able to change the scent when guest are arriving. I have been complimented multiple times that my home smells like a boutique or a hotel.

For the price, at first may turn you off.... But once you are able to get this thing to work and pick the right scent, this will give your entire house a beautiful smell. If you've ever been to a 4 or 5 star hotel, and not matter where you went within that hotel it had a specific scent, this is similar to the machines they use. It's made of quality material. Does not make any loud noise at all.... You end up realizing after you've spent the money on it that it was indeed worth the price, because it supercedes the value completely. It's easy to put together, I think the lock and key is a waste, if that key gets lost it can become very frustrating, as it will not be easy to open. It should be a screw on instead of a key to lock it. The screen is very confusing, I kind of felt like you have to be an electrical engineer to understand how to use it. The app is okay once you get to understand it, it's not well thought out or user friendly at all, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes bearable.... Now, the app is very buggy, some days it is hard to sign in, other days it kicks you out, and when it does the unit isn't functional unless you manually turn it on. The app only works on wifi, no matter what I tried, the cellular will not work, so I don't understand why it's an option. I would like to turn it on before I get home so I can walk into the house smelling amazing. The scents for this machine are amazing, although expensive, but worth it because as big as this machine is, it really doesn't use a lot of the scent. The app tells you how many days the scent will last, not sure how accurate it is, but I've been using it every day and it says I have 38 days left of usage compared to the 50 days it started with. And when I look at the bottle, I have more than half left. I also tried to use it for the HVAC system, but for some reason it didn't work, I'm sure I did something wrong. With that said, buy it, get it on sale, and you will thank me for it later.

I had high hopes for the JCLOUD Upgrade Smart Scent Air Machine, but this product failed in nearly every way. Despite all the lofty claims, it simply doesn’t perform as advertised. First off, disbursement is awful. The scent barely makes it past the unit itself, let alone covering anything close to the 2,000 sq. ft. they claim. I placed it in a 400 sq. ft. living room and the fragrance never even reached the other side of the room. You basically have to be standing right next to it to notice anything. Second, the unit is almost entirely app-dependent. Yes, they say you can use it without the app, but without it, you're stuck with a useless default mode that sprays for 5 seconds and then pauses for 4 minutes—which is practically ineffective. And the app itself is clunky and unreliable. What really bothered me was the contradiction in the installation process. The unit requires HVAC integration for full performance, yet the warning clearly states that running it without the HVAC system can cause damage—either to the aroma unit or your HVAC. This is incredibly concerning and something that should be clearly highlighted before purchase, not buried in the fine print. Overall, this product is overhyped and underdelivers. Between the poor scent coverage, required reliance on a sketchy app, and the potential for damage to your home’s systems, it’s just not worth the risk or the money.

Works very well. not too difficult to program. Very Quiet and looks nice as well.

I had very low hopes for any of these systems but after scouring all the reviews I landed on this brand & model (purchased 10/2025). I specifically got this for the HVAC option because I'm in a 4-level townhouse & wanted the advertised "whole house" solution (1,500 sq ft). Bottom line: it works. I had a sample scent & used a small amount at first & didn't really smell much for a couple of days & certainly not the whole house but after tweaking the spray timer settings & filling the bottle at least a third full it worked as it should (also keep in mind that if your ac or heat isn't actually blowing air, it's not going to push the scent thru the vents. Basic physics.). I'm still tweaking the scent solutions but I've almost dialed in what I really like & now fill the bottle to max & all is good. One thing to note is that humans become "nose blind" pretty quickly so those that say 'it worked for awhile & now it doesn't seem to' most likely don't spend a lot of time away from home. I assure you, go away for a couple of days or simply have folks over that aren't there every day & it's very noticeable. I was gone for 6 weeks over the holidays & had filled the bottle to max & set it to disperse off/on for a couple of hours in the middle of the day & when I came home it was like walking into a nice hotel or upscale clothing store. No weird, stale smells from a house being closed up for a month & a half. All that said, I do have an issue with leakage. Every time I go to check the level visually or pull it to refill, there is a small amount of oil dripping down the side of the bottle. Instructions say to make sure the lid is screwed on properly, can't imagine how it can be non-proper but it's on there just fine. Also mentions the rubber seal which seems to be intact but maybe it's flawed? Just filled it today & decided to try some plumber's tape on the threads of the bottle to see if that stops it, will report later if I think about it but this is the only reason for knocking 1 star off my review. otherwise I'm very happy with it.

This JCLOUD oil diffuser I have to say I'm very impressed with it. I ordered a refurbished model. I was skeptical because I'd never used one before. I waited to open it because I wanted to find a scent that I really like and I did find one that I am GAGA over (Hotel No. 1023). Weeks after I bought the diffuser I open it up, fingers crossed that it actually works. There were no directions included with it. I would dock off a star for this but I feel that would give this product an unfair rating just because the seller forgot to include the instructions. Not including the instruction doesn't have anything to do with how the product works so I won't take a star away for that. Having never used one I had to go to the web to figure it out and thank God for people who have the same model and show you how to use it. I downloaded the app and it was the easiest thing I've ever done and believe me, I do not like using apps. Still getting used to how much I should be using it. There was some other oil in this thing prior and it smelled like some kind of eucalyptus or eucalyptus blend. I wasn't happy about that. I put in HOTEL No. 1023 and it smells very good and seems to be okay. I'm very happy with this.

This model worked pretty well on spreading the essential oil smell without needing extra water and using surprisingly little oil in itself. It works for a decent size room and honestly it did not require me to do very much. I did not have to refill too often. I just had to do some initial adjustment and it was good to go on its own. This is a fairly big device. It is not something you can mount. It does have grip on the bottom so it does not slide and it also balances well. Short of knocking it over like a glass of water, this will have no issues with falling. One thing I will say is that it does require certain oils and they are not the cheapest. That being said, it does not use up the oil quickly at all. If you were to use essential oils with water, you would actually run out quicker than if you use this which is surprising. You essentially save money in the long run with this device. This device is nice in that everything is easily automated and programmed to your liking. I can actually control the device with my phone which is nice. It will tell me if I need to do anything such as add more oil. This device is not battery powered and it does need to be plugged in to work. The on board screen is nice. It gives you the basic information while you phone will give you additional information. It is not noisy at all which is great. You can even program days where you want it to be more active. The scent is not extremely strong so it is not over using the oils. It is prone to scratches though on the glossy front. There are controls on the device itself if you do not want to use your phone. Please note that it is only connected to your device via bluetooth. It is not a wifi device. The instructions are not bad. Overall this device does a good job in utilize the essential oils without burning through the oil or causing it to be too strong. It is VERY low maintenance and easy to setup for the most part. You really only have to do the initial setup but once you are done it is good to go. It is not a smart device where you can connect it to your alexa but it honestly would not really need to. You set it up how you want and can adjust accordingly. It also disperses really well. The sides are prone to scratching but it looks pretty nice. You could place it anywhere in the room but it just needs to be near and outlet.

Sleek design. Quiet. Easy to use the app. Can easily match your decor at home. We have yet to test it with the HVAC system attached but overall very good quality.

Doesn’t make a strong smell

I’m not gonna give less than 5 stars because maybe it’s the oil that I’m using that isn’t strong enough. I mean, I put it downstairs and it does spread the mist even upstairs. It’s quiet ( quieter that what I had before ). There is a motor noise of course but it’s not too high. Quality is really nice, I like the design a lot, the app Works well too. I bought some Other scents to try, if anything I’ll Update my review after some time.

This expensive aroma diffuser is not working at all I have 500 sqft studio apartment and we barely can smell anything with the highest output settings So disappointing
