Beware Amazon shipping - the cardboard shipping box looked like an accordion
I love the product and the shell shape. Perfect for dumping a whole box into a pot of vegetable soup. They are very tasty and kept their shape after a long cook, etc.BUT ... I bought a case of six and they showed up with one of end of the shipping box looking like an accordion, and of course the pasta boxes on the inside had also been crushed and were open on the end. Because it is food they are not returnable and OH, does that irritate me.Nothing to be done about it but if you care about whether your food is exposed to the air before you receive it, just be aware and beware.

Closer to pasta than anything else.
It comes out softer than pasta, certainly not al dente, but tastes very close to pasta. It's great it has the extra protein from the chickpeas and lentils too. I've tried spaghetti squash and spiralized zucchini.Chickapea pasta is much better. We've been getting it on subscribe and save for at least 6 months now and will continue to.

Always hard
This pasta never really gets soft, not even al dente. It's always hard.

Just ok; not as good as the popular brand
I was looking for a more affordable alternative to the popular brand of chick pea pasta that I love, but this wasn’t it. That said, it’s not awful. Still ok and we got through it all. But whereas the other brand you can barely tell it’s not regular pasta (in dishes—not on its own with sauce) you can definitely tell with this one. It also has more of a cardboard like texture. The taste is as expected for chick pea pasta but the texture is the breaking point here.

Delicious and Nutritious!
These shells are made from chickpeas and lentils, nothing else. High in protein and fiber, the carbs are slow burning so you don’t get hungry for hours (when I eat rice pasta I am hungry again quickly). The trick is DO NOT OVERCOOK. Take out of pan while still notably al dente, and it will have a texture like wheat pasta. If you cook too long it rapidly gets mushy.Of all the gluten free pasta I have tried, this is the closest to Italian durum wheat pasta. The flavor is surprisingly good; bland like wheat pasta and doesn’t really taste like beans.

The pasta itself is amazing, texture is just right for me and taste ...
The pasta itself is amazing, texture is just right for me and taste is good too, no complaints there. However, the price just went from 21.99 to 29.99 out of the blue when I went to re-order. Why is that? That's quite the price bump.Pasta itself is 5-stars, its just the price increase that has me taking off 1star.

Enjoyable and cooks up well
As a plant based eater it’s always great to find something that is decent to use as a white pasta substitute! My daughter is also gluten intolerant, so we both were happy to find this product. I’ve tried it in a soup and found the pasta to be very tasty and has a “normal” consistency, I was very impressed and recommend!

Terrible Flavor and couldn't return
The first time I ordered this product I loved it. I have severe food sensitivities and had n reaction to this. I was excited and ordered 6 more boxes. Unfortunately the second order arrived in a bag and the boxes of noodles were damaged and broken open. When I made a batch of the noodles I gave them a quick taste before serving them for dinner and noticed they had a strange minty flavor they didn't have before. I thought my taste buds might be off so served it to my family for dinner and my 8 year old daughter mentioned the minty flavor too. It did not taste good at all. I tried to return the item but unfortunately they don't allow for returns so I will have to throw these out and won't be ordering again.
