I have 3 different models, a 2 watch winder, 4 and 8 watch winder. I'm well over a year on them know, I bought 1 at a time, was impressed and kept getting more as my collection grew. I have somewhere around 40 watches at any given time and as the watches get more complicated with options, day, date, gmt, some with month as well, it can take some time to set one correctly if they are not kept wound. I have watches from $600 bucks like a Christopher Ward to $20k Rolex's with lots of Tudors and Omega's and everything else in between. I find the Heiden winders to be be wonderful, they are heavy, whisper quiet, the 8 watch winder is about 2 feet from my head when I sleep and I've never heard a thing. The multiple settings are handy, most watches will be set to the minimum speed with turn clockwise and counter clock wise, but I find some older chronographs and more complicated movements need more turns, and I've been able to adjust to keep a variety of watches wound and readt to slap on my wrist when the need or the mood strikes me. I am probably going to purchase another 8 winder shortly, I find them to be a great value and a good looking piece.

I've had this model for 4 years now. It's built solid with nice materials. It has 4 independent motors. I recently had an issue with my ac adaptor. I actually used the wrong adaptor. After 4 years, the adaptor burned out. I called to Heiden to get a new adaptor, and they were very helpful.

Overall the watch winder has been working well. One issue I did have was the backing that connects the pillow and cup separated away from the actual motor. At first it was fine but when I put a relatively heavy watch in the winder a short period of time it appeared that the cup was falling out. To fix I had to pull out the cup and properly reattach it. If you try to force it back on, it will not work. I suspect this issue is why it was returned (I bought it used from Amazon warehouse) The one concern that I would say I would have would potentially be overtime would that happen with One of the other watch holders. I do have all of the winders filled with watches. However I don’t often wear these watches as I have an Apple Watch. Therefore, I don’t think my usage pattern might mimic others. As for styling I think it’s really Visually appealing. I do wish that it had some kind of LED light that would come on when you opened the door. I think aesthetically it would just make it that much better.

Take this review as you will, but I am a longtime watch collector, a hobbyist, a buyer and seller of vintage watches and simply needed more storage and specifically watchwinders for my collection, and my advice would be to save your money and buy a different winder. this item is total GARBAGE!!!!!!! Within two months it has stopped working on multiple levels (buttons and switches mean nothing, it has a mind of its own as to what it does or doesn’t do, you just never know, might work, might not. even whether it winds or not it really doesn’t matter as increasingly it does not function as a winder, but solely as storage. It occasionally works when it wants to, but not enough to actually function as an actual watch winder nothing stays wound with this winder. Again after only two months of ownership, bought as new. It’s an unreliable cheap piece of you know what. As well, if it matters as any kind of consideration, i should also mention the metal base was bent when it arrived but honestly I didn’t care about form and more concerned with function...however both are cheap on this watch winder...so either way you might be equally disappointed and out of pocket on an expensive turd, as I was, so buyer beware.

I got this, looks and feels great, but does not work, In CW mode it works for 1 minute then stops, in CCW it works for a minute then stops. in BOTH mode, it works for a few minutes then stops. The stop start buttons on each winder kinda of work, but not really sometimes it starts/stop, sometimes it doesnt. There is absolutely no instructions or manual, so theres no troubleshooting it.
