I used this to check the ph of my saliva before and after drinking warm lemon water. It's very interesting to find that after drink lemon water , my saliva is more alkaline. This proved drinking warm lemon water would make your body more alkaline( fighting cancer, ant-inflammation, etc...) The product is easy to use and serve the purpose for what I need, worth the money. I would recommended.

These strips are fantastic. They have a nice thickness to them, don’t fall apart or tear when taking them out of the pack or wetting them with the test material, and they seem to be pretty accurate. We received two matchbook sized packs and I had to hide one from my six year old who has decided to test EVERYTHING! Thank you for a well made and affordable product!

These seem to work well. My only complaint is that I'm colorblind, and it's impossible for me to accurately read the pH levels (I'm good on the acid colors, but have a hard time with the basic colors, which is where I'm working).

This is great for the money. It isnt super accurate but its WAY better than just guessing or not knowing what the PH of the water actually is. The color does change everytime I used it. Took alot of gypsum to lower PH but atleast I lowered it to within the 5-6 range. Better than before. If you need to know if its 5.2 or 5.5, keep looking for a more accurate device, but this will get you in the ball park

pH strips are not very precise, but if you just need to get a general idea of acidity or alkalinity they are the cheapest and simplest means of measuring liquids. My water stains porcelain blue, which usually indicates acid water and copper pipes being leached of copper. The strip indicates my water is within a point of 6, so it didn't exactly answer my question, but it accomplished all that such strips can. The strips are packaged very well and for a few bucks I now have a several lifetime supply. I wish the measurement had been either 5 or 7 and been definitive, but the strips are what they are. Can be useful for gardener that use Captan fungicide, which becomes ineffective when mixed with alkaline water.

I got these for my 6 year-old to use because he loves chemistry and has been interested in acids and bases. They work well for our purposes. We've tested vinegar, a baking soda solution, water, lime juice, and a few other things, and so far the readings are what I would expect, so they seem accurate. Definitely good for the price.

I ordered these to test the acid and H level of my gardens. I feel these are very accurate in that it gave me different readings for three different plots and to double-check I dipped one if the strips into pure lemon juice. The strip clearly read the high level of acidity in the lemon juice. I am very pleased with the packaging; shows the different levels of pH to compare your strip against. The directions say you need to act quickly once you dip the strip however I found I had plenty of time to compare my strip to the pH scale. I will continue to use these to test the acidity of my soil for plants that require high acid. These are a great option for gardeners.

I bought this pH paper because it has good overall reviews. But obviously most people do not check the accuracy of the results the color match provides against known reference standards. Here are two checks I did and the grossly inaccurate results I got from this pH paper: 1) Coca Cola: actual pH in 2.3, this paper says 5.0 2) Clorox and distilled water solution: actual pH about 12, this paper says 7.0 These errors are HUGE!!! It's better to not know a pH than get terribly inaccurate results like these. Do not waste your time and money on this pathetic product.
