An excellent entry by Seiko
Looks great.Keeps time fabulously.Mostly easy to adjust the band. Super clear and durable crystal. The lume leaves a lot to be desired but is mostly just a nice-to-have. Hefty case and bracelet but still comfy to wear all day.

One of Seiko's Best. Awesome addition to any collection.
For a watch that's not COSC, but, it competes very well with big boys. The SSA447 and it's variations 449 ect. When Seiko first made these available the word MASTERWORKS is used to describe them. Also OFFERING THE FINEST IN JAPANESE MECHANICAL WATCHMAKING!Seiko 4R57a caliber in this machine posts consistent -/+2 seconds a day. And days at a time running not on but at zero a day. That's kick butt for not being COSC. Also an amplitude 289~305, beat error .4/.7 . By the way the bracelet is tops!
