Can this be tinted not just painted?

I have used powdered pigment (and finely ground chalk pastel) to tint Magic Sculpt. Once you have mixed the two parts thoroughly poke a hole in the center and add a bit of the powdered pigment then knead it until the color is consistent through out. NOTE: this method only results in a slight color shift as adding too much of anything may compromise the chemical reaction of mixing the hardener and resin together possibly causing the clay to destabilize, ie. not harden, be brittle, harden unevenly, etc.

Dear manufacturer, How much area does this cover per 5lbs kit at 1/4" thick?

Magic Sculpt unit/kit at 1/4 inch thickness: 1lb. kit = .5 sq. ft. 5lb. kit = 2.5 sq. ft. 20lb. kit = 10 sq. ft. Hope this helps.

What's the shelf life once it's opened?

Magic Sculpt has an indefinite shelf life. Once opened make sure each container is closed tightly

Can you use this to adhere ceramic parts to wood parts?

I do believe this could be used to connect ceramic and wood. Creating a visible bridge between materials you would want parts to . If you just want to glue parts togetherI would use an epoxy glue. Two part epoxy. Good luck
