Great Thumb Drives at a reasonable Price!
I use these thumb drives for several purposes. I use them to backup computer files, to organize my computer files, to make copies for family of photos I've taken, and to take to meetings for presentations. These are dependable and at 64G contain a lot of data. I recommend these Thumb drives.

Awesome Flash Drives
I love these high-capacity Flash Drives ... I've ordered three sets of 10 packs so far! Use them for backing up computers, scrapbook picture scanning, music, movies for traveling, etc ... they work great!

They work great for transferring small sets of photos and videos to friends and family
Often after a family gathering, holiday, or special event I always get asked to share photos or videos to everyone. The problem usually is that it takes too long to email or airdrop a bunch of photos and videos. With a bunch of USB flash drives I can just hand a bunch out to everyone and then collect them at a later date. And if 1 or 2 goes missing I'm not that concerned when they are only $3-4 / per a USB flash drive. They fairly fast at transferring files, though if you do large single transfers then it will slow down a bit. But I just walk away and make a coffee, or getting a light snack. And it's usually done in 5 minutes for a 3-6 GB file and for large transfers maybe 15-25 minutes. Nice thing is that this can all be done in the background and if you have multiple USB ports you can do multiple USB copies at that same time.

For the Price, OK. BUT Slower Writing than Competing Inexpensive Products
So, for $3-4 each for 64GB 3.0'ish, I really was just hoping for most of the 10-pack working and better than 2.0 speeds. And for that, it was successful. Of the 10 flash drives, 7 were all at their "peak speed" (see below), 2 about 30% slower, and 1 was about 75% slower both for Reads and Writes. Yet ALL 10 did work. So sort of a success. As for speeds, Write speeds were typically 20 MB/sec(large files burst up to 60), Read speeds around 100 MB/sec, both reasonable, although somewhat slower than the other USB 3.0/3.2 flash drives I bought for about the same $/GB (e.g. PNY), and much slower Reading than pricier products (e.g. Samsung), as you can see in the accompanying chart.

Reliable, cost effective utility drives WITH activity LED
I've bought microcenter's store brand usb drives since the days when 16 GB was bleeding edge, and with a few exceptions, I've found them cost effective, reliable (any flash stick can fail, but I've had only a couple of failed drives of several dozen over the years) and decent speed. This current generation I find writes at about 4 megaBYTES per second and read at around 30. I offer one warning about the microcenter brand: From time to time they seem to switch manufacturers; whoever they've used for years makes drives with transparent, tinted shells and activity LEDs. This is the kind we're discussing here, and I recommend them without reservation. On occasion they offer a batch from someone else, detectable by opaque, pastel colored shells and no activity light. I've found the 256 pastel versions work with some PCs, but are not detected by others. Recently, they've offered pastel 512's, also without activity light: the 512's I won't even buy, so I can't comment on whether they're imperfectly compatible like the 256's I have tried. I do not recommend the pastel style drives. These are the tinted/LED style I do recommend. Just be careful you're getting the tinted style; they sometimes don't make the difference clear on their own web site (show photos of the tinted style but actually sell the pastel style.) To summarize, these are the tinted/LED style, and I recommend them without reservation.

Great value thumb drives.
Worked exactly as they should. Transfer rate is on par. The storage capacity was as listed. And the quality and durability are great. 10/10 will purchase again.
