Cleaner Look, Better Performance
I’ve been really impressed with this diffuser so far. I swapped it out with the stock diffuser that came with my CO2 kit, and the difference was noticeable right away. The bubbles are much finer, which helps them stay in the water longer instead of shooting straight to the surface, so it seems to be dispersing CO2 much more efficiently. I also really like the design. It has a much sleeker, more modern look than my old diffuser and blends into my planted tank a lot better instead of sticking out. It’s a small detail, but it definitely fits the overall aesthetic of a clean aquascape. Installation was simple, the build quality feels solid, and it started producing a consistent mist after soaking it. Overall, it’s been a worthwhile upgrade, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for better CO2 distribution while also improving the look of their planted tank.

When you just want something that works
Prior to adding CO2 to my tank I did a ton of research. If you are in the same boat as me you’ve probably watched several videos and YouTube and read a bunch of reviews trying to figure out what makes sense. Well in the case of your diffuser option this is the one to use. No more research necessary. The FZone diffuser is made of acrylic and that makes a HUGE difference when it comes to adding your CO2 line. The CO2 line is a bit heavier and less pliable than your regular air line. The fit around the pipette is really tight to prevent leaks. With the glass diffusers it is really easy to break the pipette rendering them useless. This isn’t the case with the acrylic. I still had to use a little heat on the hose and then moisten the pipette but it was easy and the seal is tight. I had read several reviews that said to soak the stone first so I put the diffuser in my tank the night before I installed my CO2 and it worked fantastic right away. The video shown is the large unit and the amount of CO2 I’m getting in my 55 gallon tank at 3 bubbles per 2 seconds on my FZone regulator . The bubbles are a fine mist and distribute throughout the tank easily. I placed the diffuser in the back of my tank around mid tank where current from the outlet of my canister starts pushing the water down. This provides excellent distribution of the CO2. I really couldn’t be happier with this diffuser and FZone as a company. Their products are made to last and at a price that won’t break the bank.

An actual improvement in ceramic disk CO2 dispersers
I can’t speak to whether or not customers may have received faulty product from earlier (or later?) versions or old stock, but I had excellent results right out of the box. (video – the Fzone diffuser is the one on the right) I’ve read a lot about slow-moving or discontinued items being promoted as “newer versions” in order to move old stock off the shelves, as well as companies compromising quality or materials to stay afloat in a distressed economy, which explains why I see so many disparaging reviews about newer iterations of the same product. The rating I gave this not an endorsement, but a simple account of my own first experience with it. I’ll probably buy another. UPDATE: Manufacturer responded to my inquiry about how to keep diffuser disk from getting algae clogged over time. They suggested couple of hours soak in citric acid solution. I substituted the citric acid for H2O2. Worked great. I'm guessing a soak in Flourish Excel might also work. I also read somewhere that bleach soak may dissolve the glue that seals the disk to the bulb. I previously used the Fluval mini-tire-shaped diffuser with good results, but they require more frequent unclog soakings, and bubbles grow larger as CO2 pressure drops, whereas bubbles remain consistently small passing through this Fzone disc, even as CO2 pressure begins to drop. I like these Fzone diffusers a lot for my D.I.Y. CO2 setups. I will be ordering more for my planted tanks. Also, they are made from a hard plastic, not glass. Not unbreakable, but less brittle than glass.

Good quality and tiny bubbles
This diffuser is much better than my previous one. The old one had much bigger bubbles which traveled out of the water faster. This one is great and the bubbles have a chance to travel all of the aquarium and hopefully it will boost my plants even more.

Does not work. Nothing comes air comes out of the diffuser at all.
Does not work. Nothing comes out of the diffuser at all, no matter how much pressure is used. I’ve soaked it for about 12 hours (which I had to read about since there are no instructions) and still nothing. Looking at the reviews, I’m not the only person with this issue. Very disappointing because I’ve had good luck with Fzone’s other products.

So far a great diffuser
The diffuser arrived on time and in good condition. I am using it on a DIY citric acid/baking soda CO2 generator. I was very impressed with the fine mist produced by this diffuser. I have been using it for about a month now with no issues. It's getting about time for a cleaning, so we'll see how that goes. I don't expect any problems but will update if anything develops.

Consigliato!

Works great
Great little diffuser. The one that came with my co2 kit was only bubbling from one tiny spot so I had to replace it. This one diffuses from the whole top and works really well, making tons of tiny bubbles. I’m happy with my purchase 😁
