This is a fantastic humidifying air purifier from Daikin, a company widely regarded as a leader in air conditioning among Japanese manufacturers. It’s nothing short of a miracle that a product of this caliber can be purchased for just over $100. I’ve been using it for over a week now, and I’m amazed at how different the air in my room feels compared to before I started using it. The odors I used to notice when I came home have almost completely disappeared, and I can really feel that the dust accumulating on the floor has significantly decreased. When set to Auto mode, it operates very quietly. I can also set it to maximum fan speed when vacuuming the room or when I come home covered in pollen. It has a UV sterilization function, so it’s great that it can eliminate viruses, bacteria, and mold spores on the HEPA filter. The dust, PM2.5, and odor sensors are highly sensitive, so I don’t think there’s any issue with using it on Auto mode. I highly recommend this to anyone suffering from allergies; I strongly urge you to buy one while it’s still available. The design is simple and sleek, so I think it would fit in with any interior. And above all, the price is incredibly low—I wouldn’t be surprised if other manufacturers were selling this for $500. In Japan, this product retails for around $1,400.

I was pleasantly surprised when I got this box, and saw how big and heavy it was. Then I saw it was also a humidifier. I think it's safe to say it's more of a humidifier and air purifier rather than an air purifier with some humidity. It's big! And it's solid! I mean like stuff you buy isn't like this anymore. It's hard to describe, but check the dimensions. I thought they sent the wrong item, I got this on prime days and was excited thinking it was just an air purifier. I suffer with dry air in winter, so this could not have happened at a better time, to a better guy (hahaha). But seriously, this is working great. So many settings, has a hepa filter, carbon filter, and a UV light, Plus it does humidity into the air. What more could one want? it's quiet, it looks good, and frankly, it's doing the job. So, kudos to Daikin for making this and providing a good value for the money!

Works greats! Have it set up in living room and have noticed less dust on glass tables and cleaner air. Have 2 Golden Retrievers and really helps with pet dander in the air! Like the automatic cycle!

Freaking love it, even at max its not too loud and just turns into white noise. The fan capability is amazing, I know its not a fan per say but I can feel air flow from the master bedroom when the machine is in the living room and my bedroom is adjacent to the living room with the kitchen in between. Highly recommended amazing product. Deals with smells, including smoke smell and burn smell and pet odor. Drastically improves air quality within the first 6 hours, very noticeable. Functions very well and the design aesthetic works very well with any floor plan or design.

It's working well and creates a good air quality, noise is less, easy to install.

This is a great air purifier, but let me start by explaining what I found lacking in this model and why I rounded down a star. - First, there's not a lot of information as to air quality, only 3 lights, each with three colors (blue, yellow and red), plus a humidity monitor. - There's no app with more details or controls. - The fan can be set to a specific speed or auto, and in auto you can't set a max speed... so it can ramp up from silent to jet engine (where I'd prefer it to be limited between silent and gentle breeze at night). - When you lose power, it will not turn back on when power is restored. So you can't put it on a smart switch either, unless you plan on turning on both the switch and the unit manually each time. - For the price you can get higher air exchange rates, but it's still pretty good and much better than the exaggerated claims of cheaper units. - Changing out the air filter requires you to pull out a lot of parts, like the humidifier tank and blower before you reach it... Fortunately this only needs to be done up to twice a year. Okay, we got that out of the way... now for the good stuff: + UV treatment without any exposed UV lighting, which is better for your air and safer for your eyes. + Built in automatic humidifier, that adjusts based on ambient temperature to maximize comfort. + The fan on low is super silent and easy to sleep with. The louder sounds are still a pleasant enough white noise, but high speed is fairly loud. + 3 different pollutant sensors for large and fine particles as well as volatile compounds which may indicate odors. + Auto mode works really well. If we are cooking something "smelly" it detects it, runs the fan on high for awhile and once the odors are gone it slows back down to silent. + Long life media, plus easy to clean pre-filters. Overall, it's a nice machine. I have a different brand in the same class downstairs and this one upstairs. They both clean the air well and are a must for pollen season, but each offers unique features as well. My skye 5 has a lot of smart app features and min-max fan speeds, but this one has humidification which makes it ideal for keeping sleeping areas comfortable.

I bought it as replacement from Sharp brand humidifier/Air cleaner. Daikon is one of top and trusty brand in Japan - I am Japanese. I need to refill the water every day but this is actual humidity status. I believe my family is preventing dry air in the winter. Highly recommended.
