Would this be good for 1 year olds to 18 month olds?

As a pre-school teacher who is keenly aware of child development, your question prompts more questions. I would hold off on this for children so young. Could you build a story around a single farm animal - say a cow - yes. In that case it would work for you, but a group of wee ones, I don't think you will be met with success. I think that big picture books, especially pop-up books, will be extremely rewarding. I'll tell yu that I do have one 15 month old little girl who's as smart as a whip. While her vocabulary as far as speaking goes is quite limited, I can set up the farm/barn scene ahead of time and ask her to move the farmer next to the chickens, so forth and so on, and she does quite well with it. It is a well-made set and the older children have had hours or imaginative free time with it.

How do you hang this on the wall? There are hooks, but how do you attach them to the wall?

I was going to use the 3M brand hooks that have a thick tape that attaches to the wall. The package I received didn't include hooks. Only holes for the hooks not provided
