It works good put it on a metal rack on an rv trailer to hold different items the action packer is strapped to the rack so far no problems no leaks and the led stays closed easy to move around and store under the trailer excellent value

I love this trunk. I now own two. I own three other Rubbermaid bins of different sizes and use them all. They are my favorite because of how reliable and sturdy they are. My Dad bought me my first Rubbermaid storage bin in 1996 when i needed a container to keep my tack, brushes and equipment in when I went away to my first horseback riding summer camp. He bought it for me because it was so sturdy that it would double as a mounting block so that I could get on my horse easily without help. I was 12 and pretty short; and my horse was very tall, not to mention wiggly. I loved the independence this multi-functional bin afforded me, and it sort of became an item of superstition for me after that. I used it for years as my tack trunk and it went everywhere i went with my horse: lessons, horse shows, pony club rallies. I’m almost 40 now and I still have it - and it still contains my grooming brushes for my horse, and it occupies a proud place inside my horse trailer. 28 years after that awesome summer horse camp. I’m gonna go write the year I got it inside the lid. If we’re all still here in another 28 years I’ll dig up this review and report on its condition. I expect it’ll be much the same.

I have an older (10 years) tote that doesn't have the wheels and is smaller than the wheeled one. I thought that the wheeled one would be the same size (I didn't measure before ordering it.) I appreciate having the extra capacity. Well built and sturdy. Makes a good bench to sit on. The only thing that i am worried about with this wheeled storage box is whether or not I will be able to lift it to put it in my pickup truck when it's loaded.

This is great for camping gear. I love it. The only thing is that the wheels came off when it got stuck in my truck, and I couldn't get them back on. After some back and forth with Rubbermaid, they sent me a gift card to replace it. I just make sure I don't try and force it out if it is hung up on something.

This is an excellent storage box - with only one drawback. The steel eye/hole that receives your padlock (not included) is so small that only the smallest of padlock shanks will fit into it. It’ll accept just enough of a lock to keep an honest person honest - the size of a typical TSA suitcase padlock, but nothing bigger. Still, I’m happy with the purchase, enough to give it the full 5-star rating.

I had this item on my wish list for awhile. It went on sale so I finally bought it. I loved it so much I bought another! Sturdy, lightweight, moves around easily, and larger than I expected. This thing fits a ton of stuff and is perfect for packing and hauling all my camping gear.
