Fast in an open room. Don’t bother with the swivel.
It cut hours off the job. I didn’t bother with the swivel. I read it leaks. I tried it once out of the box and yes it leaked. I understand I can fix it 15 different ways. But I had to paint two huge rooms that had zero prep in 90 degrees. So I wasn’t wasting time with the swivel. I tossed it in the box and went about my day. In an open room. This is easily worth it. In a tight room. Cords are annoying. But for a ceiling. Open room. Large walls. Absolutely buy this. Actually buy the entire system just for this. It worked very well. Cleaned up easily (if you’ve cleaned a track before) and make some family friends very happy.

Pros and Cons
I run a small residential painting company and I thought I’d give this product a try. If you already own a sprayer and do a lot of painting it’s a good purchase in my opinion. If you’re just a homeowner and don’t own a sprayer I definitely wouldn’t recommend buying this along with a sprayer just for the purpose of using the roller. It works really well. You almost use the wall as your roller grate or pan to evenly spread the paint on the roller sleeve and then all over the wall. It comes out a a great rate and is just as easy as rolling a regular wall. Fairly light wait. I was concerned about clean up but it’s not much harder than cleaning a regular sprayer set up just a few additional steps. The first time I cleaned it though it got a bit messy haha so make sure you have plastic down but soon enough you’ll clean it without a mess. As far as time saved goes I’d say something like 20-40% faster not factoring in sprayer clean time though. All in all for the price it’s not a bad purchase if you roll a lot of walls

Generally good, but not for everyone.
This allows you to paint much faster than with a conventional roller. It gets a lot more paint on the wall and fewer drips and puddles of paint; it requires much less rolling to get even coverage once you get consistent with the trigger for paint delivery. The u shaped bar sticks out further than on a conventional roller making it hard to get to the left side of the wall. The 45 degree bend makes it awkward to 'flip' or use in a hallway. Also hard to use on high ceilings or if you have a bunch of protrusions. The hose can kink or get into a puddle of paint, so not as smooth a rolling experience. Cleanup is awful, but that might be the paint machine. The physical workout of rolling can be hard as well. Finally, the setup is so heavy and tall that it doesn't sit in a bucket, so if you need to move the machine, you really need two people.

A pain to clean and a bit heavy, but still a necessity for a good paint rolling job
I've used a power paint roller for decades now, and I bought this with a Graco sprayer to improve over the others I had used in the past. The jury's still out on the sprayer, as my first use of the Graco was to paint using the roller attachment. It's a bit fussy to set up, and I miss having a shield over one side of the roller. For doing ceilings, lifting the roller unit above your head gets tiring really quick. I had to mess with the pressure a bit, but I finally got it dialed in to where I could hit the trigger for a second or two, and have enough paint to keep rolling uninterrupted. (It was just a hair beyond the "roller" setting on the pressure knob.) Once you develop a rhythm, the rolling goes quickly. I still hate cleaning paint rollers, but at least with the Graco sprayer, I found that it took only a minute or two to get all the paint out and flush with clear water, including the pump, hose and roller attachment, vs. a half hour or more with the older rollers I used. One helpful tip I can give is that if you're working in limited space, you do not have to use the extension--simply remove it and attached your roller right to the trigger handle. Everything seems sturdily built, so it should give a good, long life. Is it a bit pricey at nearly $90? Sure. But for me, the time savings and the superior paint job have always made a power roller worth the money. I never could have applied three coats of paint as efficiently as I did without this roller.

Great results, watch the 90
The paint quality is exceptional! I have put 30 plus gallons of paint through this, and it is very easy to use, and gives exceptional results. No roller lines, and a squeeze of the trigger delivers more paint , no dipping, no mess. The weak leak is the 90 degree adapter, as you paint and twist it is prone to loosening which allows some paint to come out of the joint. It is certainly the weak link. Outdoors it’s not a big issue, but indoors it can create a problem. Far less than splashing rollers into paint trays and 5 gallon buckets. It does work great!

Excellent Product, but not for all (I can shed light on the negative reviews)
I have ordered over 2000 products from Amazon and this is one of my only reviews. This product is fantastic, but I now realize why it got some negative reviews. This product is not for the mechanically incompetent. If you are a business owner, and have unskilled and lazy employees, they are going to screw it up. You can't keep the pressure on constantly. You just pulse it every once in a while when you need more paint. Keeping the pressure on, or too high will bulge and eventually burst the roller. Like any pain device, it must be cleaned after use. Care is EASY, but not optional. And the guy who complained that he couldn't flip it over to get into the opposite corner was a nincompoop! Just flip it over like any roller and use the trigger upside down! I did notice the person who commented on grease in the seals tainting his paint. Mine had only a light coat. After the first cleaning, I re lubricated the seal with another light coat of a clear grease (VERY LIGHT). This product is excellent as long as you have an ounce of common sense.

Helps reduce paint time if your job is large
Had an enormous wall to paint. Having this greatly reduced time loading paint

To heavy and hard to use for ceiling's and most walls
The good: high quality materials, well made and easy assembly. So why only 3 stars? This is not an easy tool to use. The first major issue is weight. Stout high quality aluminum over plastic equals heavy and after attempting to paint a ceiling I was tired. I also added the extended rod. This added additional weight that only multiplied when paint started to flow thru it. The trigger is also a major short comming. It works great when spraying walls but is not ergonomic whats so ever when used at the end of a roller. End result? After painting 3 rooms. One with this power rolling attachment, one with a standard roller and last with a sprayer and back rolling the fastest and easiest was spray and back roll. Using this rolling attachment actually took longer that using a conventional roller and no joke my arms felt like I had done a 100 push ups and curls. Save your money and use it on tape and masing paper so you can spray and back roll....way easer.

Great application and quick
Product is a time saver. You can paint large areas quickly. It leaves a great finish and is reduces the amount of splashes you normally get with tradition rollers. The only downer is that you have to be careful when setting it up to ensure the connections are tight to avoid leakage. Make sure you use a spanner to tighten the connection. Clean up is also time consuming but it really pays off if if you are painting a whole house or a whole floor.

Great piece if kit
I’ve never tried one of these before, but as I had a whole house to paint, I thought I’d give it a go. It didn’t disappoint as it worked beautifully would highly recommend to anyone who’s doing a lot of walls or ceilings.
