Who buys planting pots without noticing there are no drainage holes? Me, apparently.
I bought these drill bits to add drainage holes to a small collection of ceramic and clay pots that I've accumulated over the years. Some are small - think 2" individual cacti and succulent pots-- a few in the 8-10'" range, and one 16" monster with walls an inch thick. I'm happy to report that all now have cleanly cut drainage holes, and that it took no more than a minute each for all but the big one, which nonetheless took only a few minutes with the one inch bit. It's crucial to follow the two pictographic instructions: 1) Start the hole with the bit at a 45 degree angle to the work surface and once it "bites" return to 90 degrees, and 2) keep the bit wet. When first starting, keep the drill speed low, and use both hands to hold it in place, as the bit will want to walk. I gave these 3 stars in the durability category only because while the 1" bit did its job, it is now completely worn out and in the trash. That said, these are inexpensive, they work just fine for my needs, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.

They work.
Used it drill through a ceramic pot so that we could turn it into a flower pot. Worked great. I am not sure how they would hold up with a lot of use but for occasional use they are all you need.

Great tool for glass cutting, subject to limits
The great advantage, and only use, of these bits is to cut holes in glass. I use them to drill holes in containers to make transparent orchid pots out of old/cheap glass containers. The thing you need to know is that they require a guide to get started, and you have to keep the bits and surface cool while using them. Guidance is most easily achieved by drilling a hole in a piece of wood first with a conventional bit, then putting the wood on your glass where you want to do the cutting. Further tip, score the glass for one or all holes you're going to drill, then remove the wood guide, and finish the hole without the wood guide in place. Natural tendency is to press a bit, but then your drill hits your guide to fast, and you can break thin glass. To keep the bits cool you can set up a water drip, My preferred method is to drill under water. Put the glass you're drilling in a bucket fill to 1/2 inch or so above your object, and start drilling. Ideally, keep object full of water as well. Drilling rigid materials under water helps to reduce the possibility of cracking.

Great bang for the buck
Awesome. Bored a very clean 3/4" (+/-) hole through a porcelain floor tile with trivial effort, just powered by a cordless drill. Note that some of the sizes are a bit wonky. The bit I used out of this set was stamped "4/5". Umm... not exactly standard US fractions of an inch. However, technically accurate as that bit does measure 0.8" in diameter. Some of the bits match standard US fractions (7/8, 5/8, 1/4, etc.) Others are 4/5 (0.8) 1 1/5 (1.2). Kind of odd, but actually correct. The bits don't seem to have a long service life. The one hole I drilled used up about half of the diamond coating on that bit. (Admittedly, porcelain tiles are hard, so they'll put serious wear on most hole saws.) So they're probably not a great value if you have a lot of holes to drill. But for limited use, for $8 for the entire set, really can't go wrong.

Great for drilling holes in pottery
I often look for a bowl with decorations or colorations did I could turn into a flower pot. I’ve even taken wooden bowls and made flower pot out of them. This is my second set. I’ve given a few away. And worn out the other ones.

Perfect!
For $7 you can’t complain! I got these bits so I could drill into an old candle pot that I had been using as a plant pot, but it needed a drainage hole. Went write through with ease, but I recommend sanding it first before drilling so the stone tip bit can grip it!
