Recieved items very quickly and so far I have only used the 6 mm tap and it worked great! I had to drill out 2 broken bolts then tap 4 bolt holes. The only thing that would make it better is if the handle for the tap holder had a spring loaded ball to help keep it from falling out. I highly recommend this product.

This is a set of metric thread taps, including a simple tap wrench. The taps are just fine. The wrench needs a square recess at the bottom of the jaws, to engage the square part of the tap shank. As delivered, you can't tighten the collar enough to tightly grasp the tap, which is a problem if you are threading something that requires more force than you can exert with this setup. In that case, the tap just slips/spins in the jaws of the wrench. This isn't a problem if you're tapping thin or soft material. In my case, I was clearing the threads of an M8 tee-nut.

What a stupid design. The taps have a squared off end but you can't grab that part. It only grabs the cylinder of the tap which obviously lets it slide no matter how hard you tighten it. And so you tighten it as hard as you can and guess what, now it's jammed. Moron Garbage. The designers of this tap should be ashamed

I got this because it was affordable and exactly what I needed to fix three bolt holes in my motorcycle. The design of the tool is versatile for what it’s supposed to do but the manufacturing is poor. The adjustability won’t fit the smaller taps that are included and the cross handle falls out too easily. A better grade one would have a ball indent to hold it in place. I wrapped electrical tape around the end to keep it secure. I also used it on aluminum and had a hard time cutting the threads. It worked ok but I wouldn’t trust it on steel or iron.

Tap bits are strong, lock wrench not so much at least not for the smaller M3, M4 bits

Worked great to clean threads on the trunk of my car for license plate screws. Nice little set for the money
