Solitaire Incandescent 1-Cell AAA Flashlight Blue

I had one of these small flash lights for over 30 years as an RN, for eye and throat exams. It was purple, we'll worn and a crucial part of all the nurse stuff in my lab coat pockets. Random search on Amazon and I found it! Still great around the house, and for checking sore throats!

Nice light for the money It’s not an led so not super bright but it does get the job done. they make a led for just a few bucks more, had I known it I would have bought it.

Very small but capable light. I keep this in my pocket emergency kit for when there is no other lights available

I am not sure exactly what I was expecting from such a small light with only 1 triple A battery, but this was not it. I have had a lot of Maglite's in the past and all have been excellent lights. This one feels like it was made very well and should last a long time. My only complaint is the amount of light output. 20 meters of beam distance is a stretch in my case. More like 10 meters. I was left wanting more, but I will keep them as I know they will last a long time and for most uses will be sufficient.

When I saw the posting for this product I thought it was too good to be true that they were selling 9 of these mini-mag flashlights for $7.99, so I went on the live chat to confirm with a representative. The representative told me that it was indeed 9 each of the product so I ordered it to have extra flashlights as gifts and in cars and around the house. I figured it was a good promotion since the representative confirmed it was for 9 of them. When the product arrived, there was only 1 flashlight in the box. I then went back on live chat and they apologized for the inconvenience and gave me a refund although I told them I didn't want a refund I wanted the product. The representative then told me to check back in 4-6 days to see if it was indeed a 9 pack or not and proceeded to give me the refund anyways. I then checked back again and was told it is only for 1 piece of product even though the listing is still up and still clearly states that it is 9 each. There are other companies selling this same flashlight for 4.88 with free shipping as an add on item so if you want it order it from them. I have always liked amazon but am really disappointed in them this time for not standing by their word. At the very least they should have changed the ad based on my initial conversation with them. While it would have been a loss for them they should have really sent the additional product based on the fact that their own system and their representative both said it was a 9 pack. Hopefully I won't have issues with amazon sold products in the future.

The torch shines with pleasant light, but bright for its size. It is not retina burning LED! Not worried for my kid’s eye when they use it. Made in the U.S.

This is a great low light flashlight! Perfect for getting out of bed in the night without disturbing your spouse! Enough light to see your way, but not so much as to wake him/her up! It’s 2 lumens!

These little lights have stood the test of time and are still holding their own in a consumeristic society that there is always something newer and better hitting the market. We have the LED versions which are good, bright little flashlights but are a bit too bright for small kids that think the best part of a flashlight is the light and are always looking into the light for reasons known only to small kids. I bought these to gift to 2 and 4 year olds and they are perfect for that. They offer just enough light for a kid to play in a dark room, in a fort, or to get to and from the bathroom at night. They do not, however, offer enough light for them to walk outdoors in the dark. These are great little flashlights that can be handed to kids for them to use for fun and a false sense of security but you will not want this to be your only flashlight in any kind of real need. They are overpriced for what you get. While most can appreciate the made in america tag and some are willing to pay more for that, and others will pay more for the nostalgia of having these lights as kids thmeselves, there are other lights on the market with better output, but not in an incadescent bulb that is safe in the hands of a small child, for lower prices. I highly recommend these lights for the purpose we bought them, to give to small children, but would not recommend this version for any other purpose. The LED versions are a much better light when light is truly needed.
