Darice Luminara Seashell Unscented Pillar Candle 7"

I have lots of luminara candles and this is one of the best. I like that this one looks like it’s been burning for a while making it look a bit more natural. Also, the candle is illuminated deep down into the candle, which also makes it very attractive. And the seashells are the real deal. Overall a lovely candle for a great price and as an extra bonus-unscented!!

Was thrilled to find these candles with the shells as my house decor is basically lighthouses & seascapes. However, I did not realize they are 4 inches - the only dimension I saw was 7 inch pillars. Since most pillars are 3 inches, I mistakenly assumed they'd be 3 inches. It is very difficult to find many candle holders for 4 inch pillars. These candles are very heavy and need a substantial holder. However, barring that problem, I am very pleased with them.

Yes, this seashell candle is ranked among the most beautiful of my twenty-five or so Luminara brand candles. In researching the value of these candles, you only need to know ONE thing: the approximate life of the Luminara brand candles is over sixty-five years! Now, that IS a lot of battery changes, admittedly. But if you ever think these candles are over-priced, have faith that research has shown that these candles have a life of about sixty-eight years! So, THESE candles will probably still be burning, long after you are gone. I never thought that my CANDLES would need to be in our will! FAVORITE: The PINE CONE in brown...I own about twenty of these as they are awesome at night! FAVORITE: The MERCURY GLASS pillar candles...GREAT because fake flame remains hidden below the glass FAVORITE: The PINE CONE in white with silver tipping used at Christmas FAVORITE: PILLAR CANDLE with maple leaves in the wax FAVORITE: This SEA SHELL pillar candle I dared not rank the candles above specifically, but the list is just about right in the order of my favorite LUMINARA candles I own. AND NEVER has a single candle NOT worked upon arrival. AND NEVER has a candle later broken or not worked even five years out of pretty constant use. I will mention that the remotes are a joke for the most part though. But will you get your money's worth? You will. My collection has grown slowly and now, at night, our home is simply magical!

This is a lovely candle. I don’t mind these expense because I know it will far outlast a real candle.

The candle makes a clicking sound! I don't know if it is just candles from Amazon or what. Another candle I purchased did the same. Advise not purchasing from Amazon.

I have other dark red candles by Luminara which I love ,but I got 5 of these seashell candles which are even better. When I light these up the whole top shows light not just the flame , I may go back and order more. Much safer then regular candles no fire risks. You won’t be sorry.

This is my favorite candle that Luminara makes. It is beautiful & the "light" glows through the upper half of the candle, instead of only from the top. The flickering "flame" is more realistic than I originally thought it may be, and I never have to worry about it being a possible fire hazard.

I've been wanting to buy this for so long and I absolutely lovvvve it.....will now buy the smaller one for sure!!
