Melnor XT Oscillating Sprinkler, 4500 Sq Ft: Flow, Width & Range Adjust

Great choice! This sprinkler waters well and is adjustable. It replaced an older model similar but a different brand. This is made well. There is no leakage and it is sturdy. I can cover a small patch or most of the yard easily and I feel it does not waste water.

This is absolutely the best sprinkler I've ever owned, expecially b/c of all the different ways it can be set. One section of the lawn uses full range of the sprinkler and in another place, it is very narrow with perfect coverage. The water pressure is also adjustable, which is a benefit for the narrow areas.

I love the versatility of this sprinkler! It last about a year. It will get sun baked and piece will break but for the price it’s fantastic. I’m able to water exactly where I want to water and I’m able to control the fan big or small.

I really like this sprinkler. It covers alot of ground. Because it's plastic, I worry about it breaking but other than that it works well.

This is a great product, even my arborist thought so. All adjustments are simple and easy to use. If you're baffled by appearance there are actual instructions that come with it. Melnor is an old well known company. Don't thinknyou can go wrong here.

This is the second of this sprinkler type I owned from this brand. The first one lasted 10 years. This one is built to last as well and the new independent features are nice. The first one is still functional but is starting to developed an internal leak. The new one- Coverage is great. I like you can minimize coverage at the sprinkler with a valve and the independent coverage adjustments are nice. I don’t use them but for a smaller yard those would be perfect. Adjust so the water goes on the garden not the sidewalk / road or driveway. I am draining and keeping inside after use.

The ability to control the water volume/pressure, width and arc of the sprinkler is very convenient and works well. But the sprinkler pattern is not as even as other oscillating sprinklers that I've had so there are "lines" that clearly receive more water than areas between them. Even more noticable is that the ends of the arc - where the sprinkler reverses direction - receives considerably more water than areas in between and I'm getting puddles at the ends of the arc before the middle sections are sufficiently moist. This sprinkler is "OK" and I'll keep using it, but I'll try another one. It appears reasonably well constructed for the price and I expect it'll last years (as have my other oscillating sprinkers) but I can't yet speak to any real experience with durability.

I don’t love this because it doesn’t go narrow enough. I want it to just kind of be narrow and not go to the right or the left. It does have adjustment but it’s never narrow enough.

Best damn sprinkler i’ve owned! The adjustments are on point. Its just so adjustable. Throws the water far.

I wasn’t sure how much of our front lawn/garden it’d cover and was expecting to have to move it with some of the pressure-related reviews. But it covers everything except for a tiny bit of one corner. The adjustability is excellent. And granted it’s only early, but the build quality appears to be very solid. It is completely plastic obviously, and it won’t be left outside when not in use, but zero complaints or issues from us.

Works great! Lots of settings to adjust and easy to use! Should have bought it way earlier.
