Ensure High Protein with Fiber

Taste good. Full of vitamins

Much cheaper than in stores. I love this and the chocolate taste is incredible; for me, it seems smooth and not chalky like some drinks do. I also like that the high protein version has minimal sugar and is low calorie. I am a believer.

I like the taste and drink it as a shake every morning ever since my doctor recommended it prior to a surgery.

Hysterical it's labeled easy open. Mind you this is a nutritional supplement that normally infirmed and /or elderly folks consume. Each bottle is in shrinkwrap, that is a bit tricky for weak, arthritic fingers to open. Then it doesn't necessarily peel off consistently. Once you've accomplished that, it has a 'tamper proof-lid', meaning you must press down with force while attempting to twist off. Remember that shrink wrap? Well, the bottle spins inside that while you attempt to twist. Try to remove most of the shrinkwrap if you can. Not bad stuff once you battle your way through the packaging.

Hard to find the larger quantity of this item in the stores so it's nice to have it delivered.

To call "Ensure" a lifesaver would be an understatement. I know it's been critical to Mom's recovery from a near-death incident and, in talking to friends and co-workers, have heard of many other cases of elderly loved ones going through a period of liquid-only diets where Ensure was a key component of that diet. But, there are a lot of different varieties of Ensure available ... some for very specific purposes ... so, until you commit to a large 16- or 24-pack case of any one variety, I would recommend going through a couple of the 6-packs. Mom started off with one variety, which agreed with her perfectly. But, when switching to a high-calorie & protein variety, it caused a lot of painful gas and bloating. There was then some confusion about which was the first variety ... Original or High Protein ... and, before finding out the results of the 6-pack I'd gotten, I'd ordered this 24-pack ... only to discover later it was the wrong one and that she needed Original instead. Because this is a food product and therefore non-returnable in that situation, I had to buy Mom another pack and I'll be drinking this one to use it. But, it made me realize that, even if the labels seem to list the same overall things ... just in different quantities ... there can be significant differences in them and that anybody changing from one variety of the product to another should do so carefully; including not committing to a large case of it until you are 100% sure that it won't cause any problems with whoever will be taking it. I don't consider that a fault of the product itself ... which is why I rate it at 5-star product. It just means that, as a consumer, one needs to be aware that this isn't just a "bottle of chocolate milk with nutrients". This is a medical product and, as such, consumers should do thorough research and likely basic testing to see which variety is best for an individual's needs.
