Silicone Wrap

The PYD Life Silicone Wrap is a key accessory for adjusting the diameter of thin cups in fixed cup presses. It allows the optimal pressure and a homogeneous heat transfer over the entire surface. Performance analysis in the workshop: Diameter adjustment: Its measures of 9.8 x 4.7 inches are excellently calculated to wrap thin thermos such as skinny tumblers, travel cups or aluminum bottles. It works as a corrective insert that adds the necessary thickness for the closed press clamps to exert a uniform force. Thermal distribution: The high-density silicone transmits the temperature constantly. It does not generate cold spots or overheating zones, which prevents the appearance of blurred images or blurred edges on the transfer paper. Structural resistance: The material perfectly tolerates continuous working temperatures above 200°C (400°F). It does not deform, does not become brittle with long sessions and maintains its original elasticity. Keep in mind: When adding an extra silicone block between the resistance of the machine and the glass, it is necessary to slightly increase the exposure time in the press configuration (add between 20 and 30 seconds depending on the material). This compensates for the time it takes for the heat to pass through the pad before activating the sublimation inks.

Be careful they do get hot. Definitely use gloves when handling. Works well with the frosted cups I got. Fits my Cricut mug press . Easy to figure out how to use. Good price

Awesome to do tumblers if I am only doing a one or two and don’t want to drag out the convection oven. I can use these and my Cricut Mug press

You get 3 different thicknesses so you can adjust based on the blank you are using.

Works great for sublimating tumblers in the mug press. I taped the tumbler really good and it came out perfect. Beware that the silicone sleeves will be much hotter than the tumbler when removed from the mug press. I was using a cheaper pair of heat resistant gloves and the heat went through them even though I was able to handle the tumbler. I do have a more expensive pair of gloves that handle high heat and those worked fine.

There are different thicknesses. It is made of good quality and I can tell will last a long time. I used the thick one to do a 20 oz skinny tumbler in my Cricut mug press and it worked beautifully!! Highly recommended.

First time I've tried sublimating tumblers with my Cricut mug press. Read reviews where people have used these wraps when pressing tumblers in the Cricut mug press. Figured I'd try it and wow, I'm impressed. All the tumblers I have tried out thus far have worked out great. Will definitely use these going forward
