What are the thread specs ?

I am sorry I do not know the answer. I shop for friends and Family on Amazon they deliver for me, It sure makes it easy to give them what they want. sorry.

is the tip threaded ? seeing 3 pieces here (1) a threaded insert , so female threads (2) a male to male threaded piece (3) a tip , is it threaded ?

No, tip is smooth inside. Has hole in bottom to attach with wood screw into cane-shaft end, or (and?) epoxy as I did.

please inform me about all sizes of this items

This was a Birthday Gift to a Friend, BUT I think there were a couple of different sizes available. Sorry to not give you more definitive answer.

Did everyone who has purchased this not cared about sizing? Does this fit both toothpicks and redwoods trees?

No! The dimensions are given in the information on Amazon. If the product you want to insert it in is smaller than the dimensions provided,it obviously won’t work. Yes it will fit in a redwood tree.
