Really nice quality heat mat. Works exactly as it should. Never had to go higher than the lowest setting. Perfect size for the standard propagation tray and dome. Good value for the quality.

Came with a nice-quality booklet on growing weed. Not my interest, but nicely done. AC Infinity has a lot of quality in their workmanship and packaging. This is a seedling mat, there's not a lot to say, but: It has a nice bag for storage, which is a nice touch. It has a high/medium/low knob that is *smoothly* adjustable (not just three positions). It kept my baby ducks from dying of cold, without using a ton of power, so there's that. Note: for keeping critters warm, use a thick layer of insulation/bedding (hay, sawdust, or similar) underneath the mat, but only a thin comfort layer on top of the mat, so the heat gets through. Even a small amount of consistent heating can get very hot if well-insulated on both sides, so monitor temperatures well, and don't put enough bedding on top that it acts as an insulator. Also, always make sure your critters have unheated space available, so they can cool off.

This is a basic heating mat but it does have a control that allows you to pick a general range of heating. It's not thermostatically controlled, that's a more expensive item if a thermostat is built in or if you're by a separate thermostat to control the mat. It has a control that allows setting it to a certain range but there's no thermostatic control that is measuring to see what temperature you're actually getting and giving feedback to raise or lower the temp. But it did the trick for me. Based on the reviews from other people I put it on a piece of cardboard which helps keep the heat going in the right direction. I used a thermometer to test the temperature of my soil after it was on for a few hours, adjusting the dial upward and downward to get the temperature I was looking for. These heat mats don't have a specific temperature as much as they have a differential above the ambient temperature in the room. So this heat mat is unlikely to start peppers in a cold greenhouse. But in my house it worked great and the price was right.

I used this very basic heat mat to warm some transplants to stimulate root growth and it works well. You plug it in, under the little greenhouse dome you may be using and the gentle heat from the mat does the rest. It's basic and it works well with no complaints . Did not monitor temperature, so I took it at face value, nothing was over-heated or damaged, so it's fine. Just needed to provide steady heat to my cuttings and did not go the whole "scientific" route of monitoring, just plug and play. Very basic, works fine IMO and I'd buy one again, and recommend for simple, basic needs.

I was surprised by how good the quality of this mat is. The adjustable temperature really works, I tested the temperatures before trying the seeds on it. Low is barely warm, high is a little too warm even for my chilly basement, and I found that about 1/3 past medium turned out perfect. Almost all of my bell pepper seeds came up. I just ordered another of these so I can start the rest of my seeds at once. I am completely new at starting plants from seeds but this makes it easy. I highly recommend this mat!

I bought one of these a year ago for my seedlings and when I needed another for even more seedlings this year I knew I could only trust this brand. So I bought the exact same one and once again I'm satisfied. It's warms without getting too hot and has worked on a number of different surfaces. I've even gotten water on it with no problems. High quality and durable.

I guess it is my fault for not farther researching but the seeds I killed with it cost more than the heating mat itself. I wont buy another one unless it has a thermostat. The temperature is hard to guess. It got too hot unless it was on a real low setting. The T series may be better.

Die Heizmatte macht was sie soll. Optisch und technisch ist für mich aber kein Unterschied zu einem Low Budget Heizmatte zu erkennen. Somit kann man sich die Mehrkosten durchaus sparen, und ein günstigeres Produkt wählen!

This product instead of helping to grow lions mane mushrooms has killed the mushrooms, burnt THROUGH the container and also burnt the carpet underneath. This was on the 'low temp' setting. I only gave it 1 star because I couldn't give zero!!
