**Exceptional Smart 3-Way Switch – A Must-Have for Modern Homes!**
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Exceptional Smart 3-Way Switch – A Must-Have for Modern Homes!** The Smart 3-Way Switch has truly transformed the way I manage my home lighting. Its versatility in being used for both 3-way and single-pole applications is incredibly convenient, allowing control of lights from one or two locations effortlessly. Whether you’re replacing a traditional switch or installing new ones, the setup is straightforward and efficient. The remote and voice control features are game-changers. Using the free app, I can monitor and control my lights from anywhere, which is perfect for busy lifestyles. Integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant brings an added layer of convenience—just a simple voice command and my lights respond instantly. The time schedule function is fantastic for setting routines and enhancing home security by making lights flicker to deter intruders when I’m away. Installation was a breeze, thanks to the detailed user manual and the requirement of a Neutral Wire. Just ensure you’re using a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection for optimal performance. The sleek and functional design, along with the flame retardant wall plate, provides both style and safety. One important note: it’s best to use this switch with others from the same product line due to app compatibility. Overall, this smart 3-way switch offers outstanding functionality, ease of use, and peace of mind. It’s a perfect addition to any smart home setup. Highly recommended!

Great deal - only 1 of these needed to make a 3-way switch smart.
The GHome Smart Switch, 3 Way Light Wi-Fi Switch is almost magical how you can hook this smart switch in just one of the original two three-way switches and not even touch the other original switch (assuming you happened to get the switch box that has ground and common - the other switch box may not). And the original switch will work with the smart switch. Slightly odd is the smart switch toggles, so if you want it on or off you push the bottom of the switch. The other oddity is why would anybody give you permanently connected wires for common and ground that are only 3 inches long. This makes it harder to hook up because not all grounds and commons in the switch box can stretch out far enough to reach. Could extend those wires, but that means two more wire nuts in an already crowded switch box. Another thing I didn't see coming was that you can't use a decorative metal cover plate. When I did, the smart switch lost the wi-fi signal and connectivity to the network. I had to go through the pairing process again using the switch plate that came with it (any plastic switch plate would work). The Gosund app pairing process was straightforward as was the pairing with the Alexa network. The app defaults the name of the switch to “Smart Switch” so I renamed the switch in the Gosund app and in the Alexa app. But they both lost the name somehow and I had to go through the pairing process again. Some hassles, but the price and the fact that you don't need to buy an add-on switch for a 3-way makes this a good deal.

Amazing for this price point.
I admit, I bought this largely because of the price. If you're upgrading lots of switches in your house to WiFi capable, you know you're in for spending some money. Averaging 10 a switch is way better than 30. I bought one -pack, and then immediately bought two more. Here are my take-aways: True 3-way functionality. I've read reviews for other devices that imitate 3-way functionality. I had existing 3-way switches, so I need to wire up to a couple traveler wires and this allows you to do just that. One issue I had was in using two on one circuit: if you name two switches "Hallway Light West" and "Hallway Light East", telling Okay Google to "Turn on/off Hallway Light" will result in the light NOT changing state because it's trying to activate both switches at once. Mind your naming and you can work around this. Appearance is good, although you are limited to white. These have a little red lighted indicator to tell you the device is on, which at first seemed redundant because the light is on when the lights are one, but when you have a bulb go out, it's nice to know the switch indicates the light is supposed to be on. This switch does not have an up and down input, like the rocker switch they mimic would imply. You tap the 'down' side of the button and it toggles the output. This is nice if standard 3-way switches make you a little batty because they can be up when the light is off, or down when it's on. The only indication is the red light, and it accurately shows red when the circuit is live and off/not-red when the circuit is broken. The units run a little warm. Like you walk up and press the button and you notice the heat. I haven't checked yet to see how much power it draws while inactive, but it's enough that you're producing heat, which is wasted energy. If this is a concern then you might want to look at another unit. It bugs me, but not enough to keep trying to find the perfect switch. The included hardware kit, some screws and wire nuts and a faceplate for each unit, is packaged well and none of mine were missing pieces. I actually used WAGO connectors, but having the included wire nuts is a good fallback if you're not providing your own. I also installed many of these in multiple-gang boxes, so I won't necessarily need the faceplates, but not needing to buy them if you need them is a bonus; at this price point I would've understood if they didn't include them. Note that the faceplates snap on, and they're the soft "unbreakable" plastic. So you don't need screws, unless you do manage to break the faceplate snaps, and then you'd need to go buy replacements. They only connect to 2.5GHz WiFi; not 5GHz. Not everyone realizes the difference, so if in doubt, have a friend who knows the difference ready to help you. The app is okay, but you're probably going to want to use these with a Google or Alexa assistant and that connects through a different app anyway. Integration was smooth as far as that goes. Bottom line, I bought these because they were cheap, and as such they exceeded my expectations. They're actually a good purchase as well.

Good product but may have longevity issue!!
These are good smart switches as long as it works. I have replaced my entire house electrical switches with these, in the two years I have been using them, two of them needed to be replaced again. An electrical switch should last a lot longer than that. They are priced well. Easy to install and program with the smart life app. It connected with Google Home very easily. It is a bit bulky than traditional rocker switches so you have to really jam these in for a 3 gang plate. This does need the neutral wire. I am just disappointed in its longevity.

Fits and works with Alexa
Work great with Alexa. Hardest part was figuring out the 3 way connection on my own. I have a staircase with a downstairs light and an upstairs light with a switch both up and down. Moving from a regular light switch to a smart one requires a constant grounding wire due to the WiFi connection. Ours was taped up and not connected to the existing switch so realizing we had to I tape that and add the 3rd wire in there finally did the trick. No need to use the grounding wire in our case either. We ended up only installing it upstairs and left the downstairs outlets alone. Just know if you turn the other ones off then you cannot control the upstairs switches. Good luck on your smart house endeavors!

Doesn't report state to alexa?
Works as it should. Alexa seems to not catch weather it is on or off tho. So it simply switches the current state. If you plan on using "turn off all lights" and one of them is already off. It'll flip the state of all of them. Most off and one on...
