Received my 4lb bag and the top of the bag had a slight opening which leaked powder all over the box. Not good. Not rating on this issue. Rating on taste and clean ingredients. Though subjective, I really liked the taste of this choco protein powder. I mix it with unsweetened almond milk, oat bran and chocolate peanut butter powder for taste and extra protein. Mixed well and was an overall good tasting shake. And all the reviews complaining about the bag not resealing, yeah the bag is crappy but who doesn’t have another air tight container in their home? Come on people, stop complaining about trivial crap. If you want a good tasting protein powder that has clean ingredients and low fillers, give this a try.

Love the flavor and taste. The quality is clean too. 4lb is the right size to buy to get the best price. In the morning I mix one scoop of this chocolate protein, with 8oz hot, freshly brewed, coffee, and some oat milk, on top of ice, then top off with cold water and a pinch of cinnamon, and I find myself craving another one before days end. It's Soo good. Smells great too and can be made 100 different ways.

This protein powder is really tasty. I blended it with ice and a cup of almond milk for breakfast.. I bought 2 bags because the price is so nice. I will be buying more when I start running low.

Have used Ascent Protein for years, love it. Quick and mixes easy. Tastes better to me than any others I have tried.

This stuff tastes great! Because of an illness, I need protein and this has got it! Much less expensive on here than Walmart, where I first purchased it!

From a nutrition standpoint, you can't beat this protein powder. It is super low calorie and the protein content per serving is massive. Here is the problem, it doesn't have a great taste. It's chocolatey, but super artificial. To describe the taste, it's like dark chocolate without the richness.

Excellent protein source, which mixes easily with water. It also mixes with an array of liquids completely. Get ripped!

This protein powder is surprisingly good. It’s creamy without the lumps and grittiness that many protein powders have. We have used both the vanilla and chocolate and both taste good, the chocolate being our favorite. Also, it is not overly sweet, and we do not like ones that are way to sweet. I use half milk, half water to mix it with and it still is creamy. Can be mixed with just water but doesn’t have the same amount of creaminess and texture but it is better with some kind of milk (any milk substitute will work). Important to note that it doesn’t mix with anything hot—it curdles or it cooks it like scrambled eggs. Overall, for taste and performance, I give it 5 stars. Price, as always, when it comes to protein powders, especially good ones, is expensive…which based on price and having 1 drink a day should last a month isn’t too bad.

Unfortunately my package arrived opened. The actual package was open and the powder. This is incredibly frustrating as I live in Australia and it is going to cost $40 to return to the US.
