Why won't you make the fold away one in different colors??

That would be a nice idea! Why don’t you suggest it to the manufacturer? The charcoal gray is okay but any shade of blue would be much better.

They don't send the folding stand at all. I ordered one and it was just a big chunk of foam. Not foldable at all! I use it, but it will not work for what I want.

It may, depending on how big it is. This holds a 12" tablet comfortably just to get an idea of size.

What keeps this Pillow Pad from collapsing when children hit or type on their tablets?

It has a tight hinge...and if it does close, it is all soft and will not hurt them.
