Reconsider this purchase.
We couldn’t use this right away since we were in the middle of relocating. After throwing away our under-tank heater, we used this to keep our leopard gecko warm for one night & the next night when we went to turn it on, we heard a pop & it no longer worked. We switched out the bulb & nope, still a no-go. Super bummed about this one since the setup was completely redone to accommodate it.

The detailed description in the listing says up to 160w max. The fixture is only up to 75w max. We bought this for our reptile terrarium, so just beware.

Didn’t last long
I purchased this item for my bearded dragon, and it quickly broke. I ordered another one, and the same thing happened.

Works great and very affordable!
This fixture works great. I own a few different heat fixtures for my reptiles, but this one is the most affordable one by far. It even has a bracket to hang inside the enclosure, depending on the type of enclosure. I use this with zoo meds 100w deep heat emitter and a reptistrip dimming thermostat and so far so good. Definitely recommend!
