Loved this tool. I needed to point a large interior wall. I bought this and a mortar pointing gun because i couldn't decide which would work better. I started with the gun and HATED it. Switched to this and loved it. It is 3 times as fast, far less messy and much more efficient than a gun. Arrived in good shape and is impressively well made for the money. Would buy again but wont need to.

Awesome grout pump, highly recommended. Used it to fill a block wall in an existing crawl space with limited access. After pushing in 30 bags (50 pounds each) of grout, gun is good as new. Job just a little too small and access too tight for truck and pump. Great buy.

You may be like me and decide to go against reviews and hope for the best. Sometimes it works out but this isn’t one of those cases. This “tool” is so horribly useless and poorly manufactured that I would be mad if someone gave it to me for free. I could tell straight out of the box that it was garbage but still gave it a shot. I used mortar mixed at 6-7 different ratios and the only thing this gun can push out is basically water with some sand thrown in. All I did was wasted my time and money. I hope this company goes under and this thing disappears along with all of its look-alikes.

No resistance it flows good. Any backpressure and it doesn't move the mix. Not enough of a seal between the screw auger and housing. Lesson learned.

I had to do a bit of modification but now works great. Repairing cracks in a cinder block wall. Way better than hand pointing. It’s a two person process. You can’t really put it down to reload. I’ll build a stand to hold for reloading

The amount of time I saved was well worth the cost. It paid for itself in the first 5 minutes! I wish I took a video but I will be using it again and will try to follow up with a video. I used it for injecting Quikrete Sand/Topping mix into the exterior side of a concrete block wall. The wall was finished with stucco so I was able to use 2" diameter injection holes which made for easy patching afterward. I thought I may have to make the mix more fluid than I would have liked but that was NOT the case. I was able to use a relatively stiff mix and it worked well beyond my expectations! One tip - use higher RPM setting on your drill. I thought slower would be better but higher RPMs works the best. Also, I did not use the plastic nozzles supplied with the tool. Before I used this tool I was using a scoop and stuffing the Sand/Topping mix into the 2" dia. holes with my hands! I even tried 1.5" dia. PVC pipe with a wooden dowel as a piston to do the job but that was a failure. The HOUBYU Mortar Grout Gun was just the right tool for me!

Purchased last Year and took it out of the box in July of 2023 and this machine plugs up after about 30 seconds of use. Doesn’t matter how wet the mix . Not impressed and too late to return.

Fell apart first time we used it

Not worth the money Chip thing like that you can find for much less

Tried using with grout and there is no pressure. Can not pump anything thicker than water. Do not recommend.
