Seals the pot!!!
They fit perfect. I have a different version other than what is shown in the picture. My opinion is they work better than what actually comes with the pot. I didn't think it fit at first because it didn't easily slide in, but after a little pressure it fit in and worked like magic. Can't say how long it lasts but I would but them again ❤️

Good fit, but takes on smell of whatever you cook.
Perfect fit. Just wish there was a way to keep odor off them. They take on the smell of whatever you cook and can’t get it out.

Have no problems for over a year works great.
Bought this for my Farberware pressure cooker and worried because it is a generic type and being used in a pressure cooker lots could go wrong but it has been working fine for over a year and I use my cooker about average 1-2 times a week, When I received it it came in a bag a bit twisted up and the twist were set in, I guess from being kept that way in the warehouse. I took them out and filled the sink with some hot water and laid them in there for a while and once they softened up and untwisted due to the hot water I rinsed them and laid them on the counter to air dry flat and they were fine. I would recommend this product.
