Well Built but No Knockouts in Housing
This timer switch arrived in its own branded cardboard box which also contains instructions for installation and setup. Time on is set by a DIP switch which has four ranges: • 2 seconds – 50 seconds. • 50 seconds – 20 minutes. • 20 minutes – 70 minutes. • 70 minutes – 2 hours. Any time within these ranges can be fine tuned using a rotary switch. There is also a ‘Timer Off’ setting. The unit itself is quite bulky and is designed for surface mounting and can be used outdoors. I’m using this on some outside lights that stay on for two minutes to give me time to get into my car. My only criticism is the lack of knockouts in the housing. This means you have to cut your own holes to fit glands for cable entry and knockouts would have made installation much easier. I haven’t had this switch long enough to comment on its long term performance or durability but I’ll update this review if there’s anything to report. This unit is well built and works as it should. At £19.95 it’s good value but the lack of knockouts in the housing loses it a star.

Good product
Works perfectly but need to drill a hole to feed in electrical wiring.

Doesn't last long.
The switch did exactly what I wanted by making use of the momentary contact trigger input. However, it has stopped working after only 2 years of occasional use, and it's mounted indoors so it can't be blamed on water ingress.

Easy to use but a little bulky
Easy to fit and use but a little bulky in size. If fitted into a cavilty it could be used for an outside light without any problem. Not as yet fillted to my outside lights from my conservatory as yet but I have tried it with a light indoors (a table lamp) and the time was pretty accurate. Although it states upto 16 amp I would keep it 13amp or under just to be safe.

Good product but tricky to set timing.
Eventually got this working. The timing setup is convoluted. Its working well so far.
