I'm having a hard time fitting my 2022 iPad pro 11. Anyone has this problem? Any tip?

Is the case shock absorbing when dropped?

It will give it protection - but no case is going to protect an electronic instrument that is dropped from very high up on a very hard surface - but I would say if the case is closed and I dropped this from waist high then it should protect it.

Does the pencil ever fall out? It doesn't appear to be secured

The pencil is very secure. It is held to the iPad via magnet and it fits snugly in the case too.
