Days after winning OASIS founder James Halliday's contest, Wade Watts makes a discovery that changes everything. Hidden within Halliday's vaults, waiting for his heir to find it, lies a technological advancement that will once again change the world and make the OASIS a thousand times more wondrous - and addictive - than even Wade dreamed possible. With it comes a new riddle, and a new quest: a last Easter egg from Halliday, hinting at a mysterious prize. And an unexpected, impossibly powerful, and dangerous new rival awaits, one who'll kill millions to get what he wants. Wade's life and the future of the OASIS are again at stake, but this time the fate of humanity also hangs in the balance. Lovingly nostalgic and wildly original as only Ernest Cline could conceive it, Ready Player Two takes us on another imaginative, fun, action-packed adventure through his beloved virtual universe, and jolts us thrillingly into the future once again. ______________ 'Delving back into the universe of OASIS is a nostalgic delight... fans will love returning to Cline's virtual world.' Press Association 'Living up to the smash hit Ready Player One - turned into a film by Steven Spielberg - was never going to be easy, but Ernest Cline's wry and savage sequel shows how it should be done... A wild ride. Make this into a movie now.' The Times 'Ernest Cline takes Ready Player One , gives it a software update, adds some more nostalgia and delivers sheer joy in Ready Player Two .' Phil Williams, Times Radio 'A stunning, futuristic thrill-ride, full of nostalgia and wonderful set-pieces. Ready Player Two improves on everything from its predecessor.' Daily Express Review: Da best - Amazing book - good sequel Review: Does not deserve the negative reviews. - I don't understand the hate it is getting. I mean sure, the stakes aren't as high and the situation begs to differ, but overall I really liked the story. It really does what a sequel should do. Overall, it's worth reading, and the story is actually good.

It is ok
Ready Player One was the first edition of this cultural plunge and therefore exciting. This feels deliberate in comparison and so doesn't feel as exciting.

Enjoyable 👏🏻
Great book. Probably for people who liked the first book, Ready Player One. The pop culture references in this book were more about movies than video games, like the first book. Might be tough to follow if you didn’t like the first one. I like the concept more than the writing of Ernest Cline. Certain plot elements happen suddenly, out of the blue, which is off-putting. Certain parts like the ending seem a little rushed, which is something I found in Armada as well, another Ernest Cline novel. Would love to see it made into a movie though. Would definitely recommend this book.

Good book. Worth a read
It is a sequence to player one. Although not as cool as the first one in the series which introduced a new genre, this one packs a punch too. It's a good continuation and interesting take on the OASIS development.

Worst book ever!
There is no clear storyline. Full of contradictions. Terrible.

He did it agin
This book is awesome. I was worried that it wouldn’t be as good as the first one but all in all I loved it as well. I recommend it fully. It really is awesome. And of course, if you didn’t read the first and only saw the movie you really HAVE TO read it as well.

Amazing sequel to the first book
Not as good, but still a great read if one enjoyed the first book. Some scenes and parts end quickly but it’s a nice action packed story that makes you ponder. Great ending.

Good book
This is a good book to get the imagination flowing while tackling the issues. Be warned though that this does have mature situations and lots of cursing so the age should be about 14.

Great sequel
Sequels are difficult and for the most part not as good as the first but. This book was not the exception. However, the author takes us in a great journey of different feelings including nostalgia for those movies and games we grew up with.

I thought i’ve read a copy of something, but... This is just amazing, a great story full of my beloved recalls. Grazie Ernst, you made my day again!
