ESPRO Replacement Tea Micro-Filter for ESPRO P1/P0, 12/16 Ounces French Press

I use my Espro 7 daily and it was time- actually past time- for a replacement filter. I ordered a returned filter and it was brand new as described. Easy to unscrew old and screw on new filter. Works perfectly.

Works great. The original filter was really hard to push down after 2-3 years use (we use most days). This replacement made it good as new.

The filters are worth the money. This is my second time I ordered. They lasted me filters lasted 3 years.

Fits my French press perfectly

Manufacturer's replacement filter for my ESPRO 18oz French press. My French press is at least 10 years old at this point and the original two components of the micro filter no longer fit snugly together and would always come apart when when making coffee inside of the body. ESPRO changed the design so that there's a nib on the inner filter that locks in a slot on the outer filter. For some reason, the filter doesn't fit as securely to the filter stem/handle as the original one, so I'm frequently having to retighten it so all pieces of the stem/filter/press are secure. My main gripe, however, is that for a $120 French press, I shouldn't have to be replacing the filter at all unless I had negligently broken it.

Perfect fit, which it should be of course. The item would be more attractive if it were priced at half or less than a whole new unit, but I don't like to waste anything, so I paid the going price.

It’s exactly what I expected. The screen started to tear away on my last one so this one is going to be cleaned more gently.

Great give you more space of liquids

The only problem with the item is that has a hole on the inner filtration layer. This is manufacturing defect

I’d had my original filter for over 3 years and it had become discoloured and difficult to press because I’d been through a phase of using espresso-grind coffee in the jug. This is too fine a grind and the filter clogs. Switching to a new one took seconds and it’s renewed the experience. Easy to press, clean filtering. Worth it.
